I suspect that the chat thing is due to languages. I was playing a 2-player with someone who was speaking spanish (or something) and could type whatever I want. When they disappeared, I was back to the annoying presets.

I hope this means they're fixing the speed...I eventually stopped playing because I was getting SO frustrated with the slowness...

Just a heads up, while Keyquest is not up, I *did* find the plushies (and new figurines and playset) at Target today. Looked like a fresh box, and luckily, they had a Strawberry Jubjub I was able to snag for averly. :) The Target exclusives (the electric 2 - Wocky, Shoyru, and Cybunny) are not bad looking, either. It did take a while to find them as they had been moved from the end cap (end of an aisle) to within one of the aisles (the one with the stuffed animals). Looks like it may be more permanent there. ;)

The neopets toys aren't on an endcap here at my local Target either... they're (whimper) in the aisle with all the Barbie and Littlest Petshop toys. (Are they purposely trying to make me feel too old to play?) Anyway, I was lucky and got an electric cybunny today.

I noticed something amusing while looking for the token today -- if you go to your collector's case into series three, the page with all the strawberry pets, and click the space under the strawberry jubjub, you end up seeing the non-existant "Jellyworld Jubjub" with a jelly alignment. It amused me, figured others would like to know! :)

From this week's Editorial:

Quote:
Therefore, there is a feature planned that will help deter those who intentionally leave the game just because they're losing, but it won't be included until the game goes live. We don't want those players who are being booted from the game unintentionally to suffer any consequences. We're afraid you'll just have to bare with it until then.

YAY! This really does make me happy. I think it was overall my largest complaint about the system, and I am so glad it was addressed.

I would join you in the happy dance except the game is as slow as ever for me - the minigames still favour 1 person. :(

I had hoped for a better game. At least the powerups are working.

So I just had a weird glitch :o I was at the space to the left of the white key. On my next turn, I rolled a one, which would have moved me to the space with the white key. I gained the white key, but didn't move. On the turn after that, I rolled a one again. What did my pawn do? It went up and around the space with the white key :o

Also, clicking on the "Redeem Your Key" button doesn't work for me :( And the Nova game still freezes my computer :(

I had the same thing happen to me three times in a row now. The first time, I kinda freaked out.

My redeem button isn't working either. I figure I'll just go to the vault when I'm done for the night and redeem all of 'em.

That glitch happens all the time. It done it occasionally when KQ first came out, but it is doing it for every game I play today.

I had to quit when I'd only earned 8 keys last night - it got to the point where every time a mini-game started, mine never loaded and froze completely. :(

Edit: Hah. I fixed my mini-game loading problem. I cleared my cache, now it's loading fine. Had I not been lazy last night... :P

I know that they wanted this game to help encourage deflation, but I think it's going to do the opposite. A few key items (no pun intended) will deflate, like codestones, but at the moment NPs are being pumped out of the system (I must have made at least 150,000NP over the past two days) which will ultimately drive general prices up.
