Maybe they can have a North, South, East, West view. So say your pet is "home" and you take a "snapshot" or something of a certain wall, you could use that as your background for your pet.

So I say the basic background will be whatever the wall is made of, then they can have each furniture or item load over the wall, as trinkets or things then finally your pet loads in the picture.

I think this would work on whatever system them are already using.

I was trying to imagine how in the world they'd change neohomes and this is all I can come up with, it will be using the same system they are already using to customize pets, only you'll be using your neohome to customize your pet too.

If this really is how it will work, I imagine the price of gardening items will increase, because people can buy a lot of creepy looking plants or beautiful plants to create a creepy or pretty background for their pet!

Gosh if that's what's going to happen, I suggest that people start buying stuff NOW if they want to put things in the garden or home...

Unless, like with wearables, some items can be used and some can't. Maybe they'd have to release some new items that can be placed in the neohome/neogarden.

Also, if they do have to release new items, I'm wondering what will happen to the old items which aren't compatible with the new system, if someone tries to view the room with those items in. Maybe they just won't show up in the picture, but will show up in the list of items contained in the room?

If our actual neohomes become background and our furniture and flowers become wearables, I still think it will take a massive amount of work on the part of neopets.


Probably in the beginning we'd just have the wall behind our pet load. So they'd have to make backgrounds of cloud, steel, glowing, jelly, chocolate, bamboo..and whatever the wall is made of. They'd make these background first, then they'd have to start working on the many thousands of flowers and furnitures that exist. It would be slow going...

unless this has been in the works for years already...

either way, I wouldn't expect too much right away. The price of furniture and flowers will probably remain much the same until it becomes "wearable".

If this is how it is going to be, I think it would make customizing much more personal. People can design their own look for the surroundings of their pet.

So it would be like making your own background.

Well, some people write for the times or role play their pet, and they have a very original design in mind for their pet. So something like this would be needed in order to get their pet "just right".
In time, maybe everyone can get the exact pet they were thinking of.
