What is wrong with you two? Convincing others to breach the Neo-Rules even more? That is one of the most severe things you can do. It's bypassing their security measures-- which is as bad as hacking in my books. If he got caught, it'd be a permanent ban for sure.

Hey! I got an idea! Send download links to Autoers and Bots, on the Neoboards, and then do a DDOS attack on Neopets! That's a good idea too!

Let me reword my message.

"Use a proxy, only if you know it is legal to do so"

Well...technically, 'neo-rules' aren't the law...so yea, they're legal...

It could have been a permanent ban already...

Oh my. Has the whole forum gone mad!?

Proxies are legal, yes... However, using a proxy with malicious intent, or to bypass other websites security measures, however, is not legal.

Neopets banned you. You obviously deserved it. Don't try and bypass the ban with a proxy, or you could end up in a LOT of trouble with Neopets.

I know they wouldn't sue you or anything-- but something like that I'd just leave it.... It's just as bad as if I was banned from PPT, to use a proxy so I can bypass the ban and still post on the forums... Now administrators, would you say I'd be allowed to do that?

No?

Then why should we discuss methods to get past Neopet's security?

It may some like I'm coming on a bit harsh here-- but it's just like finding a topic with people trading 'botting' programs, not knowing that it's against the rules.

Can we get a moderator to clear this up?

Would using a proxy, to bypass a ban be legal, rule-wise, and law-wise?

It could have been a permanent ban already...

So? Are you saying, If I had been banned from PinkPT permanently, I might as well use a proxy and re-register, because I'm already in as much trouble as possible?

I don't like that logic, to be honest. :/

EDIT:
"Use a proxy, only if you know it is legal to do so"

Alas, in this situation, it would not be legal.

It's against Neopets rules to use a third-party program to bypass their security features. I recommend that you continue trying to contact TNT to request a lift of the ban rather than trying to bypass it on your own.
