I clicked most of them last night and got like 12k last night, and then this morning when I went on I had another 9k. I still don't think I got all of it, but 21k is still waaaay better than nothing :):)

Yeah, I can't tell just by reading the list which of the clickie links are still valid and which are outdated and shouldn't be used. I guess I wouldn't know unless I clicked on them, and sometimes not even then, because the clickies are so laggy. It's probably safer to stick to the ones I've been using, although some of them are pretty old.

I wonder why TNT doesn't remove the links when they expire, the same way they remove sponsored games that expire. That would keep people like us from following old links and going where we shouldn't. It's good housekeeping that keeps things fair. Then again, the sponsors can tell that clickies and process_click ads do get people to see the sponsors' messages, and that word-of-mouth advertising on chat forums still works... So it's probably useful marketing information even after the original promotion expires.

Ok, thanks for clarifying that. I made sure I didn't have any NP when I left earlier so I'll know for sure when it pays out.

Edit: Yay! Just checked Neo and I've got 1400 out.

I woke up to find over 43k in my account this morning, so I assume all the the clickies are working; they're just taking a really long time to register.

This is the list of clickies I'm using, if you're looking for working ones (I assume they're working, anyway, because I have no idea where else that NP came from): http://neopets.com/~swoskel

Surely TNT can't want people to be getting 50k a day from following dead links that in many cases no longer even lead to a working page.

I considered that awhile ago and finally concluded, "...foget it." These links make up a majority of my income now, since I just don't have the time to master games, stocks, RSing, etc., and if they're going to freeze me because I'm trying to scrape together enough NP to keep the site fun for myself, then... so be it. I don't see it as cheating, personally, since I'm still giving attention to the advertisers by visiting those links (which was TNT's intention to begin with).

EDIT: Even if the links lead to dead pages, that's not TNT's fault. It's the advertisers' responsibility to maintain their own web sites, TNT just leads us to them.

Yesterday the clickies worked pretty much right away, but today I've only gotten about 1k so far and I did them a couple of hours ago, so it's safe to say they're at least slow.

My opinion on the "legality" of clickies is that as long as TNT allows pet pages consisting of lists of links, they're okay to use. If the petpages get cleared, I won't use them.

Yes, they're still working (thankfully). I used one of the links I found here early this morning (before going to bed). I had recieved 30K before I went to bed, and when I woke up there was another 40K in my account...It just took about 5 hours or so. :P

I noticed that the Hidden Np games have been removed from the site. :(

Are the sponsor links still working?

I did the sponsor links last night after everyone (On the Neoboards at least) were complaining about the Hidden NP ones being removed.

They took a rather long time to register (much longer than the five hours it took yesterday..) but all of them seemed to still work for me.

Seems that all but 2 of them are gone now.

The jadephoenix page is an expansion of an old petpage, and that original account got frozen - but there are a bunch of possible reasons for that other than just providing the links. There was a contest on that petpage for a while, but it was retracted and replaced with a request to submit questions to the Neopian Times about whether or not such contests are allowed. I figure they either thought it was spamming the Neopian Times editorial or they misinterpreted some of those questions as people reporting the contest.

....Is it ok to post neo links that redirect to the sponsors? I know they are neo links and that neo makes money for recieving sponsor hits but thought I should verify with you to be sure...... Garm

*staff member* Replied: Good question about the process_click page. I was just looking at your page the other day. I'm looking into removing all process_click links from user submitted text. It isn't really fair to our sponsors if people are just clicking and going to an empty page. I think it would be more appropriate for you to link to the activity

I'd be happy if there was links to the working games that have clickable links, it wouldn't take much more of my time. This is also on his petpage.

So does that means that direct linking to the sponsor sites is against the rules but it would be ok if a guide directed you to an activity (sponsor game) on the site and telling that clicking on that sponsor site would earn you NP?

I can understand that TNT doesn't want us to earn 55k for visiting retired sponsor sites. I was nice to be able to earn so much by basically doing nothing, but I understand it isn't really fair. :)

For these to work, is it necessary to let the entire animation on the page load? At what point is the page loaded enough to "count"?
