I just still find it very strange that they got my number of referrals wrong, that was the one thing that confused me!

I am sure it is common to have referals you didn't know about, but "referalteam" is not an official staff account if it doesn't have any special message on the bottom of the user lookup. TNT only ever communicate through the username "theneopetsteam".

I don't know what this person stands to gain... maybe popularity?

Referalteam isnt legit, but referralteam is. Really. I dont think its a staff account as much as it is an account used to send automated referral messages or something like that. Like I said before, I just recently got a mail from them on the 19th, along with a 9k food item for my 5th referral. Nobody sent me the item. It 'neomagically' appeared in my inventory, as the mail said.

I agree that they should stick some kind of message on the userlookup to prevent people from thinking something fishy's going on. Im going to submit that to the editorial, and in the suggestions form. a lot of people dont get referrals enough to realize what happens when you do get one.

hmm... if it's really real, they should just change it. It's not clean cut and efficient this way.

referralteam is an official TNT account - it is obviously older than the new accounts set up by TNT and hasn't been updated with the TNT avatar.

Only monitors have the TNT message on the bottom of their lookup.

It is efficient, in the respect that it is an automatic service. As soon as you get a referral, you get a nmail from that account.

If you lookup theneopetsteam you will still see the Default Avatar. The TNT avatar is only visible when you open the nmail - (when you get a MP, LC or WC neomail).

But the official "asplode" avi used to be on theneopetsteam account, and now it's not. I'm positive that the official UL used to have more on it than it does now.
