Haha. Yeah, the earth and air faeries are horrible. I do like the new darkness, fire and light faeries though.

The Uber Air Faerie should either keep her trousers or wear a dress like the one on a Corrupted Air Faerie.

I hate the Light Faerie, but I like the others. Especially the earth faerie.
*cue the garbage throwing*

I think her dress is long enough, you can't see them, kinda like Cinderella.

Where are they attacking? Their hair should not be between their backs and their wings... It's like the Christmas Zafara all over again!


Oh, and I LOVED the old Uber Air Faerie. Her top and pants and want were a great look. She still looks good, but I just miss the old one. And I miss the puffy-haired-Uber-Earth-Faerie!

I don't know, but I really like them. I liked the outfits on the old ones much better, but they really didn't seem to have faces... that wierded me out. These most definatly have faces. *nods* I do agree that the water faerie has so many pearls on it's a hazard, and that the earth faerie looks like a hula-girl... but I love the other ones. ESPECIALLY Fyora. I love her makeover.

I don't think the Fire Faerie needs that bright red "second" dress, it seems all out of place and wierd.
It looks to me like the Earth Faerie is a doll that's about to topple over.... I'd expect a foot in front or in back, holding her up and showing below the dress, something other than that arms-and-legs-plastered-to-sides look....

Light faerie's pretty cute though, and looks closer to the original drawings.

I agree that the Light Faerie is very good. It's very close to the old image, and I never saw anything with that one (aside from it being slightly dated).
I hated the old Earth Faerie. With the afro and the bellbottom pants, she looked like a seventies reject. Or a wannabe from that area. The dress isn't the best, and the hair looks very funky, but it's better than that... leisure suit.
Water Faerie has too many pearls. Personally, I think they should be dropped completely. There was nothing wrong with the one; I don't think it even looked dated.
The Dark Faerie looks AWESOME! The old one wasn't bad, but now she just has much more attitude and less teenage rebellion.
Fire Faerie's dress is a bit odd, but it's not the worst. Her old outfit didn't look that bad, either.
I don't have a problem with the Air Faerie's dress. It just doesn't bother me. Of course, I would've preferred if they used an image closer to the shopkeeper Air Faerie, with the transparent sleeves.
Fyora looks better. Before she looked unnatural, staring at me with those solid purple eyes. Now she looks human, but... does she have to lift up her dress like that? She looks like a teenager, or like she wants to be one. Change the poses of Fyora with the Earth Faerie, keeping the dresses the same as they are now, and I think they'd both look better.

The Fire faerie looks like she's wearing a bird.

I sent a letter to the editorial saying that the quest faeries "were extremely outdated and didn't match the great artwork they have now" and, voila, updated quest faeries a week later.

I was actually suprised when I seen the updates but I'm glad they actually did something I asked them

Wings don't work that way, but hair does, when it's long, the strands can be anywhere they want... including between the shoulders and actual wings.

I like ALL the new faeries better, they have faces. And I think the Fire Faerie is my favorite. Red hair and a KILLER dress. *cue cheesy voice* LOVING her!

okay i'm the odd man out but, I LOVE them. They are so much more detailed than their older counterparts. Full of life and motion. . .so cool!

It doesn't look to me as if the earth faerie is short. It looks as if you're looking at her from above, making the bottom half of the picture look shorter than the top, even though its not. If you look at it like that, the the dress is plenty long enough to cover her feet with normal length legs.

And about the hair- I have to agree with moogum on this. Yes, some hair could get between the back and the wings, but it would be split between the sides, which isn't the case with these. It's especially evident on the fire faerie since her hair's got that sideways sweep to it.
