I understand that there is not much of Britan left in Neopets, but they wouldn't want to exclude anybody who either did not live in the USA, or who did not know when the tax date was. It might be an interesting aside, but they wouldn't base this part of the plot entirely on it. But Monday looks like the best bet at the moment. But, as patjade says, at least we don't have to wait any longer than a week - there's almost no way the'd forget about this plot.

My feeling is that trying to get the right combo at the colloseum was meant to keep us amused for the holiday weekend

Well, if we had a browser that took 2 hours to load one page, and we were very unlucky - yes! Heh. Admittedly, drinking a lot of punch, although enjoyable, was not predictable to get the Gladiator.
Maybe they decided to give people this time to catch up - if the plot is ending with the last constellation, then maybe they didn't want people to be left behind with no time to find a constellation.

Monday's a 'public holiday' (of sorts) here.
I think it's highly unlikely they'll include something about 'Tax Day' though

I've never heard of it before, and I assume most non-Americans have either.
A couple of days is nothing compared to the LDP

I'd laugh if the next clue was already out and something silly like going back to the punch club and hitting a different combination.

I think that, if it was out there, somebody would have found it, unless it is somewhere really obscure, like having to buy three items from the Petpet shop, then jump in and out the sea for an hour, before clicking on the right hand of the Archivist. Hey wait, that might work... *runs off to check*

Yup....if the clue was REALLY ridiculous, then everybody doing the plot would be laughing to end. But then how can you be laughing and both angry at TNT for making it late??

They should be in the office on Monday, the US does not celebrate Easter Monday. Monday is also Patriots Day in a couple US states. California, where they are based, does not celebrate that though.

I don't mind it being late - it's better for us to have to wait a week and have to really think about it and get a lot of satisfaction than to have a release every hour that consists of 'click here - oh, you found it, well done'. And it gives me time to think of what, if any, prizes will be awarded for this plot. Hopefully a rare Battledome item for the really high scores. Or maybe a Paint Brush. Who knows?

Maybe they will come up with some kind of Altadorian paint brush?

Possible, but unlikely. There isn't really a paint brush associated with Altador or similar yet, but maybe a Royal Paint Brush would be released (
King Altador, after all)

Yes, possibly so- but we have to count the Tainted pets, which may come out as a paintbrush. Therefore, it is quite possible the Tainted paintbrush, if there is one, will be a reward.

The news may be out but that doesn't mean a new clue couldn't be released Sunday at 12NST.
I can't see TNT making us wait all weekend. It's not like we're all excited that the Easter Bunny is coming tomorrow after a year of being goine
Oh, wait, CHOCOLATE!!!
Okay, so maybe we do have to wait.

they have altadorian shopkeepers though, so why not release a paintbrush to give our pets similar looks? i think they'll release a paintbrush at some point, since they pretty much have one for every world.
