If a direct answer or too easy of a hint would be posted here, MODs would quickly erase it.

Posting a direct answer is not only against neopets rules (and PPT would like to not anger them in any way) it is also SO unfair for those who are willing (and have already) to put efforts to looking.

Some people sometimes share the answer in more depth than hinting with others they know usually work hard, but to post in the forum is completely public and would be the same as posting directly into the boards because of all the lurkers PPT currently has.

Q did post the boards' hint (splish splash) a few posts above yours.

And yeah, I'm glad we don't post the exact answer. Have you looked at the number of views this thread gets? We have SO many lurkers, and if we were to post the answer directly, we'd get about as much NP from the MP as we do from the LC. Not cool.

Hmmm, I see. If my memory doesn't fail me though, about 3 years ago PPT (and some other sites) constantly put up the answer on the front page... also on the neoboards, people were allowed to post answers...

Is it because of the introduction of the prize pool? Because I don't think it was around back before I quit...

Don't get me wrong though, I prefer it this way. I finally got the answer to the new LC after raking my brain for about an hour. It's not funny if someone post the exact answer and I get less NP that way...
