I got most of mine from Borders Books. Yes, that means I braved the kids section. Fortunately, both the Borders I go to have the kids section next to the humor section so I can always read some Garfield books or Dave Barry to detox myself I've also seen them at Target too.

As a 20+ guy, I'm too terrified to even enter the store... if there were one where I lived. I almost actually looked at one last time I was in Arden Mall in Sacto. Scared me so much.

Here's an excuse if anyone looks at you funny, I've used it myself : "I have a cousin that really loves Neopets, and her birthday is next week."

Of course at the time, that was the truth, and the people in the store didn't look at me weird at all

When i was buying 20 neopets pluushies at a time from maccas, i'd just go in and have a list of the ones i wanted. I'd read them out and pretend I knew nothing about them, so that the people would think i was doing it for someone else

I have 2 teenage children, but their ages drop dramatically when I need to buy Neopets merchandise. I always say I am buying them for the kids.

I also wrote a list for Mcds plushies and pretended I knew nothing about them.

It was really weird; yesterday, it was just a giant error box, and today, it's back to normal.

Yeah, Neopets merch is something I'd definately bring a "list" for.

Psh, I'm an eighteen year old girl who doesn't look like she'd belong anywhere near a L2 or Claire's or anything selling Neopets stuff...

But whenever I buy anything like neopets plushes, if someone gives me a funny look, I just glare. =P It's not like it's any of their concern what I buy, anyway. XD
