I thought the IDB forums had tested and disproved that some time ago, although people would like it to be true.

Yeah, tested and disproved. There's no pattern to faerie quest rewards as far as we could see. It's too bad -- it was a cool theory -- but there's no way to ensure your battle pet gets all the stats. I wish TNT would make it so that your active pet gets the points, though. I really don't know why they don't.

It is random. I remember when that theory came out and it was looked at.
For me, as well as many other battlers, the solution is simple. Have one pet. I do have other pets but not on my main account. THis also helps with KQ. The only negative is that some things target only the active pet and if have only one you can't protect it. That is how my newly painted Darigan Buzz the next day was show by Boochi...

Yeah, I agree with the Random theory. I have seen no patterns over the past 3 years, though I've looked.
