Don't be silly. You can just use one of the myriad other sidebar themes that everyone has. There's got to be tons of those, right? Or just use one of the nicely colored default sidebar themes.

Lol. I dont even like it that much.. its to busy looking. I like how subeta has it set up with a color and then a pet of that color. Neo should do something like that :/

That is very wierd that some peopel got the sidebar and others didn't. I got it at 12:04. Maybe if those who didn't get it visit again? Refresh?

i got mine at 12:21:?? and i got it. (im guessing though, because i didnt know anything about this time thing until now. i clicked back on my browser and thats what time it showed when i went back)

I collected at 12:02 or :03 and didn't get it. I just went back and refreshed, but all I got was that stupid "ice treasure" winter RE. Bah. It BETTER not be like the Halloween one and be a once-per-year chance.

Not the one I was hoping for either. I tend to agree with puck - it doesn't look like the regular winter REs - no "Winter Random Event!!!" title.

maybe it was set up to be part of the advent, but they got the time mixed up (which doesn't make sense).
Kinda how like last yer the prizes didn't come out the first few minutes/hours?

Well hey, I didnt get the halloween one, and I actually liked that one! I wish I could trade this one in for the halloween one :/

It looks like it was part of advent, being underneath the cake and all. If some people get it and the rest of us don't... grr.
And once again, I know I shouldn't complain about free items, but... no petpets, no BD items, only one book, no new avatar, and the sidebar only for a few people? I was really disappointed with the advent calendar this year.

this isn't a joke at you, cranberry, it's a joke at everyone -
maybe those of us who were good and didn't complain EVER got it, and those of us who were bad and complained even once didn't.
things suggested but generally not the case on the boards:
that it depended on what sidebar you were using when you collected (but i know many yellows who didn't get it)
that it depended on if you loaded the animation and watched it all the way (i did and didn't get it)
that it depended on what browser you were using (very doubtful)
that it depended on if you checked the advent calendar every day (again with the 'idadgi')
also, i wish that the profile change page would ever submit for me.
