I only collect avatars I like and/or easy to obtain.
Fact I have both meerca bros avatar...I kinda got it great with that.
But...Zomutts, I love them, so that avatar is my pride and joy.

Yup. It does add another point in neopets, but it is slightly distracting me from training up my pet

I use it to set goals . If I don't set myself goals I just lurk around the boards. Still do it, but less often .

Partly status, but mostly becvuase they are so cool. I love the task of working to get something.

Same for me, and i like to collect them because they look nice although i never really go on the neoboards...

I collect avatars that I really like or ones that are easy to get. I won't spend a lot of money on one, even if it is one that I really like.
