Here's a shortcut for finding the RYB scroll order for the 3rd crystal.
instead of trying each combination BRY, then RBY, then YBR, etc; you can combine them. It only looks at the last 3 you read so you don;t have to start all over
read B,R,Y,B,Y,R,B,Y,B,R to cover bry, ryb, byr, yrb , rby, and ybr.

Can anybody with the 4th crystal please either confirm or deny my theory that if no pattern repeats, even with duplicate symbols, each time you have one less option to check?

Okay, so I haven't "technically" got my crystal yet, but I'm on my way to retrieve the last white scroll, and I can say that even though I had seperated duplicates (fish, sun, trident-thing, sun) that every single one of my combinations was different, althought the loactions were of course the same.
My final order is: BYR, RYB, BRY, YRB

I would like to make the following request of the mods: please re-phrase the following in the first post, "5. Start at the BOTTOM of your tablet going in REVERSE order. 6. Using the idea of colors (Orange = Red + Yellow, Green = Blue + yellow, Purple = Red + Blue) break down each color and read its primary colors.
--> EX: You have an Orange Set. Read a RED set and YELLOW set. It seems that the order to read MAY be determined by your direct order."

Doubletee your method will save alot of time but does it really work, I just read the 10 and somewhere in there the message will come up telling me the white scroll location?

UGH! Finished with my 2nd crystal scrolls. I just love going from Selected Royal Works (yes, I had one on the 5th level) to Anubis Toxicology... *twitch* I wish I were joking. I did get lucky though in that my last four were all right next to each other on level 1.
And yet this, it appears, is scarcely the beginning of pulling out my hair and gouging out my eyes.

My scroll card catalog did not change until I got jellied. I did start searching for a jelly trap before I was done with crystal2, though.

Thanks both for the responses. I think this is a cruel slap from TNT to humble us for thinking we were so clever in mapping out our temples originally...
