well, you have a pretty cheap set... i wont give a suggestion for one weapon in 1m, but for complete set.

first of all, Wand of the Moon. 8 icons, blocks 3.... for 350k its yours.
keep the Leaf Shield, its an excellent shield.
healer - Red Scorchstone (20hp). 90k.
Downsize! (really cheap). once per battle, blocks half attack.
Now, you wanted something you could save for - 800k for Honey Potion. great weapon.
keep one Scarab Ring unless you want to invest 350-500k buying another 8-iconer to combine with Wand of the Moon (like Florbix Blaster).
If you want, you can buy from time to time Scroll of Freezing (65k). It can freeze your opponent (100%) but its fragile, which means that you have to buy a new one in case it breaks.

Okay you're going to need to buy lots
First of all replace snowglobe staff with h4k helm (h4000 helmet) or if not get scroll of freezing which has a chance of breaking but 100% freeze and then replace one of the sand snowball's with honey potion and geat rid of another item for a leaf shield, and then for healing you should get some kind of scorchstone maybe but your scroll is good for now and then with the scarab rings replace one with something like florbix blaster or cloudy wand of storms or frozen wand of crystals and then if you didn't buy the h4k helm then put in another weapon

Wand of the Moon actually does 7 icons, while, I'd recommend the Greater Healing Scroll, 50hp. Used to be about 10,000np before the war.

It also depends whether you wish to play 1 player battles or 2 player.

Hmm, where's your healer? Every set should have a freezer and healer, along with shields and weapons. I've never used scroll of freezing or actually muffins or snowballs (I'm too cheap - I'd rather save for a once per battle non-breakable or multi-use). And your budget is pretty limited.

The leaf shield - keep, it's a good shield (earth/water/physical). You might want to look at patched magic hat too (earth/light/physical), depending on who you're battling.

For a freezer, you might want to look at snowglobe staff or black frost cannon - they're both random and the staff can break for the battle, but not permanently.

Healing - with only 33 hp, maybe bronze scorchstone (15 hp heal) or a greater healing scroll (50 heal) if you're training. Allegedly the scroll is fragile, but I don't know anyone who's had one break.

Weapons - get another scarab ring and use the last spot for a one-use (muffin/snowball).

Lastly - train, train, train. Try to get the 55 strength and defense boosts, get to level 50 so you have berserk and don't forget about the faerie abilities! Drain Life (dark) at level 30 is a great ability. So's burrow and sink. Fiery gaze, especially with a random freezer seems to increase the chances of freezing your opponent.

Thankyou a lot of people have said to get the halo of devilpuss. I know i put 300k max. but i am looking at 300k per item so i can built up slowly eg a weapon at a time.

I am a 1-player battledomer only, predominately fighting during wars. The lab has made her fairly strong, but I am now training level so I can eventually train defense. One of my immediate goals is to beat the Giant Ghostkerchief.

I would like your suggestions as to what would be the best upgrades for her. I am willing to spend 1.5 million at the most. I would like a stronger healer(maybe)...I do have the faerie abilities that give me 33% of my HP back when I use them. I am not sure if those are useful at all. I am thinking of a higher icon dealing multi-purpose weapon or a more powerful bomb....I am just not sure.

Reliable one - blue (30hp) or green (40hp) scorchstone, depends on the budget you have.

Bleen, I would get downsize! and an Illusens Earth Potion. You are a beginner and the Earth Potion is a good first bomb. Downsize is an asset no matter what level you might be on--it really does work! Being able to deflect that much damage for such a cheap price is a great thing.

At what point should I focus the majority of my budget into a better weapons set/faerie abilities as opposed to training? What weapons would you recommend? I probably prefer dual duty weapons, as I'm not labbing and am going to train defense. Originally I liked the idea of a Mask of Coltzan/Air Faerie Crown combo, but they are really expensive.

Keep training till you start having money problems = you're losing money every day. when you're at level 40 and it costs 13.5k approximately per training, you kinda stop making daily profits, especially if you train twice a day (you know, you can't train 2-3 times a day for less than 10k forever...).
In my opinion you should train to level 50 (so you'll have Berserk) and 85 strength and defence (85 is a boost). don't train agility too much, its useless (literally).
When you're after the 85 boost and have berserk, you can loose the training a little bit and start saving money. For what?

Well, asuming that after the training you'll have like 500k, maybe 600k with some luck, you need to save money. just forget about everything, and start to save every single neopoint. You can save for MoC and AFC, or just buy Cloudy Wand of Storms / Frozen Wand of Crystals for 550k, they have 8-icon attack and 3 icons defence each, which is dual duty, but cheaper and weaker.
