I have tried it enough at this time and seen my sister try it enough to say there is a REALLY good chance that you have to talk to the ID...or properly guess the floor she would send you to anway. Just a lot of people have been getting first floor sends so far. As for whether or not you can place them on blurry lines on the appropriate floor my sister and I are playing cards in the naughty corner right now.

I have totally disregarded the ID (except for the very first time, as he was right there, so I clicked and there was a button on the page to consult him) and been able to place everything on the 1st floor 4 out of 5 times.

The ONLY time I didn't have to be on the 1st floor was when I DID consult the ID, he told me to go to the basement (only that once, mind you).

Honestly, wouldn't you all prefer 1 out of 6 odds (or greater in yoru favor) to trying to find the ID and then place something where he tells you? :-S

I find that it doesn't take too long to find the ID either, using the maps from the first post make it a lot easier for me :)

Ugh! Up to the third floor to find that the ID has moved to the Basement, so down to the basement, to find out I have to go to the 4th floor to place the rack. This is getting old.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!!

The foreman storms over to you in a fury. "You're not supposed to be putting furniture on this floor! What is this, your first day on the project?! Go outside and don't come back until you've learned to follow instructions!" He grabs your furniture away from you and hands it to someone else.

This is the first time this has happened....:( how long will I be in the corner? I won't try THAT again.... :x

:D

LOL! I was just going to say, for me it is not worth trying to find him, as by the time I do, he might have moved anyway. I have decent intuition, so I think I will stick with my 1 out of 6 odds, and even if I had no intuition I probably would.

Have fun finding the ID tho, y'all.

Basement, row 10 column 21

The coordinates are posted in the first post.

Well! Now that i'm finally on the same page as everyone else, i'll quit lurking and start posting.

Though I have nothing too interesting to say yet.
I've only placed two things. The first one (table) was uber-difficult but the second (scroll) was a piece of cake. Now i'm on my third (lamp) so lets hope it's as easy as the second. :)

the maps of the floors dont have coordinates on them.. are u supposed to count? and which way? like a standard graph, with the x-axis numbered left to right and the y-axis down to up?

Sat Oct 08, 2005 8:50 pm

I've placed 16 pieces so far.. 4 of each.. frankly I don't find placing tables *that* difficult.. I "unblurred" a table on the 2nd floor and refreshed for 30 seconds and it was still there.. lol. I guess it's luck too :)

You will see the coordinate numbers in the status bar. If you don't have one at the bottom of your screen, go to the top of your window, click on 'view' and click on 'status bar' . At least in windows.

The coordinates are in the urls in the respository.

Like an example url would be:

http://www.neopets.com/desert/ldp/repos ... ick_col=30

Each space you walk on gives a different url and it shows your coordinates at the moment. :) Rows go across and columns are up and down.

When people give coords they are giving the one neo uses...which you can see if you hover the mouse above a square you can legaly move to.. I believe they start 0,0 at the top left corner. so 8, 1 would be 8 rows down 1 colum left...at least that is what I remember..being I am still stuck in "time out"
