heh thanks. Right now I'm at seaside at level 19 and still training. The hardest part of insane mode is paying for the weapons/armor and potions X_X

Really? On evil, I didn't buy any weapons after Lakeside, because the weapons dropped by bosses and monsters were better than the regular weapons.

I wish I had a really good NeoQuest II guide...
I seem to remember a guide... um... the Not-So-Newbie Guide.

I beat Normal, and I'm now on Evil.
What level should I be before I go into the cave before Zombom? You know, the one with the ogres and the skeleton guards?

I was going to say that guide moved to the web...but when I went to check it was gone.

There is the In-Depth guide with maps and stuff that has a few guides on ithttp://www.digifort.com/idnq/index.php?page=guides&rel=nq2 I haven't read them myself as I used the Not-So-New one to get through the game when I played on Normal and went by memory mainly on Evil. When I did the cave before Zombom, I leveled up until I was killing monsters more than using potions to heal myself.

The digifort guide is nice just because it gives you maps and boss info.

Currently I'm in act 2 on insane mode and just beat the boss with the wordstone easily

Skill placement is something you should work out for yourself and only really check here for suggestions. It all depends on how you play the game I suppose.

I'm now on my way to Nox on Insane; the Faeries went down at 47.

Another thing this thread hasnt mentioned yet is the rule of 11s; basically, you dont want to stick any skill (except group healing and perhaps Mipsys damage spells) over 11 points, to make the most use of item bonuses in endgame.

For Rohane and Talinia, this is always fine since every single one of their skills you should ever use (except multiple targets, but at 11 its the hit 4 at once so still good) are innate and work automatically, and help reinforce each other, so it doesnt matter what order you take them in; for Mipsy's spells, and Velm's Healing, the extra points can help a lot and therefore are usually worth the investment.

Also, the digifort maps are awesome and extremely helpful to newbies ^^

And lastly, one thing to make the Terask 2 fight easier is starting with act 4, but 20 of each damage potion; Terask 2 is insanely resistant to Mipsy and Velm spells, but when he doesnt have his group shielding up, he tends to take over 100 damage per potion, allowing those two to dish out tons of damage.

But make sure not to use them when the shield is up, because then they usually dont work well.

Actually, you might want to put the link to IDNQ on there also, just in case there's some members who aren't aware of it :)

If you feel comfortable, they are.

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.

For normal mode? Yeah you're doing alright. But a little training never hurt anything. Except for my sanity.

You should train to level 25 or so, or that cave before the Inn will be a nightmare.
