The Fortune Teller's message has changed:
She calls out to you again as you turn to leave. "That scroll repository they're building sure looks like it's gonna take a while. Sakhmet City is trapped in another dimension, plagued by zombies -- or so I hear -- and meanwhile, the remainder of Neopia quietly watches a handful of Rukis making furniture. Remarkable."
Not sure if there's anything important to that, but there it is.

p.s. Yay!!!! I was the first one with news!!!!

I'm so proud of me

Hmm, maybe they are being sarcastic and there is something else we are supposed to be doing? I have no idea what, though.

.....Zombies?
They didn't look like zombies in the comic.

If we go with the classical voodoo def for zombie, they would just look like regular people, only w/o a soul. If we go with a more general def, a zombie can be any living dead. Living mummies would then be zombies.

I'd say they're definitely trying to hint to us that we should be doing something besides wait for the furniture. Now we just have to figure it out...

This is the same Kau that sent us into a dangerous temple just so we could get covered in scarabs. Not really one for getting her details straight.
I agree, Jasujo, there's got to be more to it, but I'm just as stumped.

I completely agree.... But I don't have a clue about what to do now

I've checked the source code of the fortune teller's page, but no more hints in there...

Does anyone remember what the old link was to the City? Was it just usurper?
I've tried spelling tresed.phtml (& tresed/index.phtml) backwards on each of the possible roots, does anyone have any other ideas?

Wasn't there something else in the plot comics... two of Sakhmet's towers were clickable (or looked like they would be), or something? Has anyone checked that out lately?

Funny that you're asking that, I was just checking it

(as they say: great minds think alike

) But nothing there at first sight though...

Maybe something to do with the numbers? 4, 3, 0, and 1 seem popular with them (104,034 and 4,330).
Other than that there's nothing I can think of.

The number of handfuls of sand, when turned into coordinates, led to Sutek's Tomb, right? It's the featured game today. It's probably just a coincidence, but it may be worth playing anyway (for the double neopoints, if for nothing else

).

I moused over the desert and nothing unusual is clickable as far as I saw (like when the footprints appeared).
