Side Accounts & Random Events

I don't really see a reason to still allow people to make side accounts. You can make a gallery on your main account and still have a shop.

We're allowed to have the side accounts to have more pets.

Personally, I'm sending my lab map from my main to my side account once it's finished because I don't have a use for a lab on my main. I don't care what Neo says, I've been transfering RE items to my main account and paint brushes/food/etc to my side accounts for 5 years now, and I haven't been frozen yet.

Still, I have to figure out how I'm going to send the whole lab without looking a bit.. suspicious. O.o';

Sending a whole lab maps worth of pieces can't be that uncommon -- lots of people have lab maps on their secondary accounts, after all. I think I just sent mine across in trades. (So there's another reason to have multiple accounts besides having more than 5 pets -- to have more than one lab map.)

It's generally sending things from a side to the main that people worry about.

I really wish TNT would implement the idea that's been tossed around here a few times and let you "link" your accounts, so that they all act like one big account and you CAN'T collect dailies on all your accounts.

For example: I'd love to start taking the relatively weak pets on my secondary account to Coltzan's shrine to get training. I think it would be great for there to be a system in place so that I could go to the shrine on any account, so long as I only did it once per day (ie, if I went on my secondary, I couldn't go on my main.)

I know some people periodically rotate which account is their main without undue difficulty, and I wouldn't mind doing that for a while to build my secondary account up, but my stock portfolio is still on my "real" main. I suspect that buying stocks on my main and doing everything else (dailies, games, etc.) only on my secondary account would be considered a freezeworthy offense, even though it doesn't confer any advantage (unfair or otherwise.)

In short, I think the way Neopets handles secondary accounts is really messed up. If there was just a way they could make it impossible to use multiple accounts to gain an advantage it would make life so much easier (and playing around on secondary accounts so much more fun, since you could actually do stuff there.

I would love for tnt to make it so it was impossible to use multiple accounts to your advantage too, I'm still kinda hoping that with all the work they're doing at the moment maybe they're considering that too *hopes regardless of likelihood*

The main reason I play neopets is for my pets - I earn money to paint/zap them, buy them petpets, train them up, make them intelligent and so on and as such I have the full five accounts with my pets on them so there is certainly a reason to have more than one account. If you could only have one account I probably would have run out of things to do on neo a long time ago.

For lab maps I have two on side accounts and tnt really aren't fussed about you moving things from your main to your secondaries, if I remember right I put all the maps in one trade marked "Reserved for side account" and picked them up on my other account. Sending stuff the other way I'm not so sure about, I have codestones in my sdbs on my other accounts but so far I'm more happy to leave them there. Perhaps the new rules will clarify that too.

But yes, having them linked together would be wonderful and would mean my four main pets weren't quite so spoiled in comparison to the rest!

i dont see anything wrong with having more than one account as long as you dont restock and play games on them all. i have 3 and regularly swap items between them. i think as long as its not major amounts of stuff youre ok

I do it all the time, but it's probably not the best idea if you really value your account.
