Edit: From Esophagor - ERROR : Cannot insert into bd_active_opponents - INSERT INTO bd_active_opponents VALUES ( 'myusername', '8' )

Edit 2: I've figured it out, every where you go that you have potential to get a new battledome opponent the error occurs. It happens at the WoE, because you can get the Pant Devil there. It happens at the Esophagor when you complete a quest, because that's what you do to get him as a BD challenger. You can't view Kauvara's Neopedia Entry, because that's how you get her.

It all makes sense now, they're getting quite tricky. The reason this is happening (as far as I can tell) is because they're deactivating all the BD opponents from the accounts, so that the system thinks we haven't obtained them as opponents yet. That way, nobody can use the makechallenge{} javascript during the war to be cheap and heal their pet with Punchbag Bob/Inflatable Balthazar. When you go to the pages, the site thinks you don't have the opponent, so it tries to insert it into your list, but you already have it, so it throws an error, which is what you see. Cool stuff.

I just accessed the snowager. Maybe they've finished by now. What are the chances of a midnight release?

Still can't access WOE... I doubt we'll get a midnight release. And if they do, by some miracle, get the news up, I'd be willing to bet that the opponents won't be active until at least tomorrow some time.

BUT . . . my wife, daughter, and I have each been able to visit Snowager at various times throughout this hour, and that's the page to get Snowy as an opponent.

None of us, though, has been able visit the Healing Springs -- no Battledome opponent there. No error message, it just doesn't actually go to the page.

(We all need the Springs, too, because each of us got the same result: our active pet blasted.)

I think those errors are gone now. The battledome is back up with the regular challengers, I just used the WOE and got my pet sick and the snowager blasted me dead
