We have the results of the vote for the new species, but we will not be releasing the winners until after the Curse of Maraqua storyline has ended. In the meantime three of the less popular potential Neopets are now available for you to own as Petpets.


notice the pulral. There will be more than one winner.

Not that i care, I want them to change their mind an release the gortooga afterall <3

The Polaflint is probably definately going to be one of the winners. The Nikondrak.... maybe. By Lava Flying Disc Creature, I assume you mean the Flannzoo, I really can't see it winning. As for the Lamameeah, I can't really see why so many people like it, it's rather bland if you ask me.

*hopes so* I imagine how many are turned into a pet will depend on what pet won - if it's one they feel they can't do much with then they'l probably release another one as well. Unless they never show us what all the votes are and then they can just pick the one they feel would work best out of the 5 or so that proved most popular.

As for which ones turn into petpets, most (not all) of the pets will have got quite a substantial number of votes so out of those that clearly didn't win but make okay petpets...voila petpets :D

Doesn't look like they're actually released yet though, they're not searchable as of yet.

I think the little orange thing makes a much better petpet than Neopet.

As for the winners, it was probably the llama and the sharkaw, and maybe the polaflint.

I've always thought that lizard-thing would do better as a petpet. Not a bad idea on TNT's part to do that.
