Bad idea. ABers snatch everything up and all it did was introduce a high source of income from cheaters receiving retired items.

Besides, I make a lot of Neopoints from buying items just after they retire and dumping them in a spare acct's SDB. I picked up about 8 Meowclops' during Halloween two years ago when they unretired them for about a week. I paid a grand total of 15,000 NP for them all. I don't want to see the price deflate because of it.

Admittadly I will never forgive Neo for retiring the Faerie PB, seeing how a mere couple of weeks before they did, they promised in the editorial that the talk of the Faerie PB retiring were all rumors and the Faerie PB wasn't going to be retired in the forseeable future :x

[EDIT] Ahhh, here we go. Week 106 Editorial in the Neopian Times.

I hear rumours from people that the faerie Paint Brush is being retired, is that true? - Grandmaster295
Nope. Those rumours are probably started by people wanting to drive up the price of paint brushes by making them seem rarer than they are.

Fyora has retired the Faerie Paint Brush from the Hidden Tower. Also, (wow she must be in a bad mood), she has limited people from buying more than one item a day!

I reckon the only pbs that should be retired are those that are not actually useable - stone and glass. On top of that I don't think any more pbs should be retired ever, stone only was because they scrapped the colour and it wasn't really needed. When they keep bringing out new colours for a pet or for as long as that colour exists I don't think a pb should be retired, it's pointless and all it does is cause inflation (something they've said they want to avoid, ha).

It would be nice if they would un-retire the faerie pb and any other "retired" pbs that can still be given out when there are still new pets coming out with the colour. It would also be nice if when a pet comes out in a colour they would increase the likelihood of that pb being given out to help curb inflation.

Just realised how hypocritical thios sounds. The point I was trying to make is, whilst I made an easy buck, a lot of people lost a lot of investment. I've stored those Meowclops' for over two years and as a result I've made a large profit. Unretiring things wastes the two years of saving. Maybe just make the Fountain Faerie less stingy...

yeah i know the idea was not that good but it does sound interesting. Maybe they will limit the retired items.. Like sell max 3 per day or something.

Introducing a new disease, tyrannian chickenpox. Discription: you start growing horns, toenail fungus, itchy spots appear, and you get REALLY hairy.

This is a very funny looking tyrannian color. I got to agree with you 0_o, leave the triceratops look to the tonu.

The horn is just...wrong. It looks like they tried to make a cross between a leopard, a lion, and a rhino :o

Good to see Carmas are starting to get colours.

Although there are still many petpets that need them.

(Scarabug, Frillabon, etc)

Those petpets have such glossy fur! They must lather-rinse-repeat, as well as brush in the conditioner while still in the shower.
