the Snowager glitched when I went to get an item. What should I do with the doubled item? Will putting it in the TP, asking for it to be deleted, work?

Ummm, nope. Although I have done in the past for vice city guides etc but I'm not sure that counts, heh

Oh, that poor person. vtothec, make sure to tell that person to file a bug report explaining exactly what happened and what exactly was lost. Because it is possible that Neopets will return the item. They returned items lost in the mid-November SDB glitch--but only for those who filed a bug report and stated exactly what was missing. It's worth a try!

Last spring and summer, Neo seemed to have glitches just about every week. Lots of lost items/shops/petpets/SDBs. Then, they pretty much disappeared once they outsourced their computer system to Equinix. That is, except for the big one with the SDBs in mid-November. And, I really haven't seen any glitchiness until now.

I just hope this glitch doesn't mean that more are to come.

About 2:30 neo time I tried to collect my winnings from food club, almost 6000, and got an error message. Now the wininngs are gone from the chart and I never got them. I think it may have been part of the same glitch.

I just sold a Faerie Queen Doll a few days ago, after it had been sitting in my items for 3 months. Now all of my inventory items have vanished except a a jelly and 3 snowballs.

I didn't lose anything worth more than 50 np, but that could have been quite an annoying glitch.

Yes, that's the most frustrating thing about the glitches: the "what if." What if I had been unequipping my sinsis sword at the time? Or taking a million out of my bank? Or accepting a trade for a faerie queen doll? My guess is that there was at least one person doing that when this happened. Which means everything you worked so hard for could be gone in a heartbeat.

My heart goes out to those people. And, to the new people who lost things--because it must be very hard to continue playing a game when as soon as you start playing, some nasty glitch takes your stuff away.

Hopefully, TNT will be compensating for the losses incurred in this glitch.

It's somewhat un-related, but a while ago I tried equipping a snowbunny to my pet, and that was the day when all the petpets disappeared, right? Lost my snowbunny. *sigh*

Anyways, I really think that they should do announcement for about a week, then take Neopets down for a day, fix all the potential errors, bug-proof the system, and do all of their normal maintence. That would help to avoid glitches like this. *nods again*

Oh no I really hope items are returned to those who lost out. In the sdb glitch I got my two items returned to me weeks later - just make sure they fill out a bug report and make it really clear what they lost and what happened.

This glitchiness might have started last night. A few people I know had everything in their inventory, shop and sdb disappear. Most things came back, but some things did NOT. And someone else went to withdraw a bid on a tp lot (late last night) and lost 16k - which may not seem like alot to some people, but to me any loss is a loss. I felt so bad for that person:(

So frustrating, when you feel like you can't do anything just in case you end up losing np/items.

Particularly frustrating because many of us were going on the site with a sense of false security. No major glitch in the past 5 months--so our guard was let down. Mine was anyway.

A glitch didn't even dawn on me when my computer starting slowing down earlier this afternoon. I actually thought it was my computer, not Neo. Last year, I was much more tuned into the glitches. Anytime I even got a "Page cannot be displayed," my fur stood on end and no items/nps were moved. Guess I need to go into combat mode once again.
