Thanks for the heads up, I went back and clicked I Win and won against my frozen opponent -easiest win ever LOL! Now I have to wait until almost midnight and cross my fingers my other opponents don't show -.-

Hmm, making the time shorter wouldn't work because most people only log in and play for an hour or two each day. I dunno what would work though. Maybe they'll implement some things slowly like in the BC and see what works well for most people.

I HATE neomailing people about arranging a time to play. I refuse to do it anymore after mostly bad experiences that wasted my time and took the fun out of it. It's so weird, most people are really nasty and pushy. Once I got so mad at someone that I just kept waiting until I got the 'move or lose' to play, lol. When I have managed to set up a time with someone, they inevitably take 8-15 minutes between moves. The last time I set up a time I told the person I had to leave, so could we hurry up and finish or set a time for the next day -big mistake, they got so bratty, but I was not about to sit there playing for two hours (I'd already given them 45 minutes and we weren't even a third of the way through *rolls eyes*). Maybe some people deliberately do it so you'll just give up the game?

Exactly.

Has anyone ever actually played a multiplayer game?

I play all three every month in the tournaments besides a couple here and there between friends.

Also, thanks, Steven. That means a lot coming from you. ^.^

Yes. I used to sign up for the tournaments every month, but too many opponents refused to play fair, so I stopped.

And Q, I don't think we should have to neomail people and set up a time to play -- I think it should be like when you challenge someone in the battledome and you have to choose the time. Then you go play at that time, and if someone takes longer than 15 minutes to make a move, they lose.

Cranberry, exactly! They should make the multi-player more like the battledome. If the person you're playing against doesn't make a move in so many hours, you should be able to withdraw and win by default or at least without any penalty (like the bd).

I know so many people who don't even bother with the multi-players anymore because of this non-move thing and having to send neomails, etc. It's supposed to be a game, not an annoyance.

Sounds fairer, I suppose. This came from my lovely pal Teeshy, who lurks here *waves* :)

Yeah, that sounds right -- my Armada opponent did move after the first Move or Lose, & today I was invited to send a second one, so the system clearly is keeping track.

NOOOOOOO! *apologizes in advance* *kicks neo*

Last night I was waiting for my second move or lose to time out, the person hasn't logged in in 4 days. I had to go to sleep. I just went to collect my win and the stupid thing now says it's MY TURN. :D My oppnent never logged in, and there are no moves on the board.

*goes a little crazy*

It's just annoying. Bug? Or is this how it works now?

I think the time matching is GREAT! Now if only got Neomails that state the outcome if the game is forfeited and such *Hoping*

Wow, this is great! ^_^ I'll actually sign up for them again. In fact, I'll do so now. :D This is really, really cool! Thanks!
