I understand people like to get past avatars rereleased, but i think it is stupid in this instance as this av has nothing to do with anything from today this year.

yeah, I tend to agree with you there. It would have been nicer to get a new av featuring some of the new "pets"... Seems like it's just an excuse for TNT to get just a tiny bit lazy with the avs for holidays.
