I like it. Who says a pet needs to be all fancy just because it's Maraquan? It looks like a seal, but it has enough lupe touches that you know it's a lupe. And lupes are supposed to look stern, so that works for me, too. I much prefer this over something like the Maraquan kougra or gelert (talk about a neat idea but horrible execution...).
Ditto!
I've been saying for ages that the Maraquan Lupe should be seal-like, and this
almost exactly how I pictured it (granted, in my mind, I did picture it to be a little more feral).
Honestly, if I had a Lupe (and the money to buy a Maraquan Paintbrush) this would so be the look I'd go for.
Oh, and Huggles, as a minor point of contention, seals generally don't look furry underwater so I'd be extremely disappointed if they decided to "fluff" the Lupe up any.

Awesome! It's more like a sea-lion instead of a seal (I think). Definately very cool...
Yea, you're right. Sorta. It's an Otarid (eared) seal, which includes sea-lions and fur-seals. They're the ones they generally use in aquatic performances because they have the ability to sit-up, unlike their cousins, the Phocid seals.
HeHe. Random piece of useless scientific knowledge for everyone.
