I don't really care for the Garlic Jub or Kikos look. It's okay, but I wouldn't spend money on it.

Obviously the Neopets staff have been spending too much time at the Stinking Rose. :P

Confirmed by someone actually doing so, or "confirmed" by Donna saying so in the editorial?

Haha.. your use of quotation marks there is hilarious - and you're right, Donna's answers are rarely accurate.

Thing is, it's that British sense of humor (or humour, as Adam & Donna probably still spell it) -- it can be hard (especially for us Yanks) to be sure when they're kidding.

Like when Adam said a couple times on the NeoBoards (before the non-animated version was released as an apology for the big banners) that the way to get his Bleh avatar was to have several thousand bottles of sand in your SDB -- that one was obviously a joke, but some people still apparently believed it.

In this case, I think Donna was likewise joking when she talked about feeding specific pets massive amounts of garlic (or chocolate) to get the pets to turn that color. But while Adam is often over the top, Donna tends to be more understated, so it's harder to tell.
