That's hardly news, though it IS quite funny.

Opps! I forgot to read the first posts, sorry :p I think there will be a war between: maraqua vs. the heroes and the other pirates but the other pirates betry him and the hero goes on maraquas side. I THink the pirates will win by popular demand, but hay, remember the meridell plot with the orb? Darigan has far more recruits then meridell but meridell still won. Jeez, the good guys alwayws win :)

TNT said a while ago that there'd be a war but it wouldn't be constructed the same way as previous wars. I'm not even sure there will be battles

However, I feel that they contradicted themselves on that more recently explaining on how the war was going to run as it sounds more like how we have known wars for the past few wars.

Alright. The newest chapter is up.

Observations:
Even underwater, Neopets still sleep in beds.
Garin, I know you're in trouble, but from the looks of it, so is Jacques. Quit begging him to help you and fight your own battle.
Ok, I know the Bruce is bad, but he's so CUTE! And I know he's evil for knocking out Garin, but damn if that wasn't hilarious.
Jacques appears to be being attacked by three corrupted water faeries from NQ2.
My immediate reaction was "Dude... you're a guy, and three blonde females are reaching out to you. You should be thrilled."
That poor tied up Wocky needs a cuddle.

I think that the plot is going even slower than some other ones *hint: Meridell*

AMEN!

When I saw that I was all 'dude, leave him alone, you're not the only one fighting pirates you whiny brat'.

So Garin and Jacques become pirates, hijack Kanrik & Hannah's wedding, and then bail on the rest of their crew when Scarblade comes for vengeance... and they're supposed to be the good guys because...? I'm not particularly liking the surface dweller-phobic, Caylis banishing Maraquans either. If there is a war and we get to choose sides, this may be the first time I end up with the villains.

Wow...I used to like Garin, but now I don't, really. I think his response to Jacques' advice to abandon ship is what did it for me. More and more, I see Garin as a whiny little brat who cares more about being a pirate than anything else.
I'm also not a fan of the Maraquans. It was really cruel of them to put Caylis into exile just because they thought she was causing the problems. Maybe they could have tried to prevent the predicted disasters.
Unless future plot comics change my opinion of the "good" characters, well...if there is a war, I'll be joining up with Scarblade/Caylis.

They don't call him "Garin the Foolish" for nothing. I think though that's the point of his character... he's naive and will only live out what he thinks is being a pirate is.
