One way you might get around the link problem is just have a notice telling people that if they want to see your art, they should visit Deviant Art and look up your name. Deviant Art is popular enough that most people should be able to get there without a link.

That's a good idea, Sable.

However, since "no links on lookups" isn't really a written rule, and I know for a fact that staffies have seen my lookup with both URLs on it, I'm going to leave them and take my chances for now.
