I hope they don't. I know that some people have been frozen and are starting over etc but it's really frustrating to see avs you thought were retired suddenly flood the Neoboards

I know what you are saying...but it kinda punishes people who were gone that one day and couldn't get the avatar...I don't know if that would be fair on any level since it was a one day obtain. I can see them maybe releasing it on Valentines day for 3 years THEN permanently retireing it. That way you get 3 strikes before you are out of luck...something like that makes a little more sense and would still keep it relativly rare...or I am just jealous since I was sick that day and couldn't get out of bed to get it.

I hope they release it again with another one that doesn't retire so i don't have to keep missing them and having to wait a year

Completely selfish. If you'd like an insanely rare av, I'd try getting one that is truly hard to get... not one that you just happened to be on neo one day and sent a greeting.

I hope they make it get-able on the 14th :) I missed it last year.

I've allways found people who talk like that a bit unfair/selfish. Since, it wasn't an effort to get in the first place anyway.

I personally am allways away on most days like halloween, easter christmas ect. So if they make a day specific one. I don't get it anyway. I'm sure it's the same with other people. We all have lives. It's nice to get another chance.

Also. Those avatars are quite obviously not "retired". Remember that they all have a secret way of unlocking? Well, once a year, do a specific thing, you unlock the avatar. Hence not retired. You just have to be online a certain date to get it.

I won't be getting it though :D I'll playing my lute allover Ireland. Which you must agree, is far beter than the av 8)

After reading this topic it seems the people who missed it want it back and the people who didnt dont want it back. I personally think it shouldnt come back, the first few go their today avatars, if I recall, were Dr. Sloth and the dark faerie one. Both of those probably caught people by surpize because they didnt picture it retiering. After those first two times, avatar collectors got the picture that an avatar might go kaput at any minute, and thus shouldve gotten the avatar when they had the chance :) However, I figgure it will be rerelased because TNT's to lazy to draw a new one :P

I'd have thought after the release of all these supposed "retired" avatars (Sloth, Jhudora, Seasonal Pea, etc) people should have the understanding now that, for the most part these avatars are not actually retired. Afterall, simply put, people made presumptions in forming the opinion that all the day avatars were retired, presumptions that have now been proven largely incorrect.

The only avatar I'd consider it "unfair" to release again would be the one which we were told was retired in the Editorial.

I think its good that people are being given an opportunity to get the avatars again. It gives those that started collecting later a fighting chance of actually competing with all the people on the high-score table.

Sometimes people don't have a chance. For some, it's hard to get on neo every day to even know there's a new avatar released. I think it would be awesome for them to re-release it. The avatar isn't even that rare compared to some of the other ones.

I hope they do re-release it.
When they did release it before, I couldn't send neogreetings.

I completely agree, and there are other avatars anyway which probably wont be rereleased (like pluchie nova)
