they cant really stop people from from doing it... well, unless maybe they are selling all the items...
but there are people like me who just like to collect items... i accidentally rose the price of items, not because i was trying to hoard them or raise the price, but because i was collecting them.... and other items i wanted TONS of them in my neohome *to make an army*.... its everybodys right to buy lots of items if needed.... but sometimes, that causes the price to go up.

Then you'll lose out. I always sell at the cheapest rates.
Not my fault that other people inflate the market, is it? I just follow the flow and price my goods slightly below them.

They are quite expensive, but one of the uber-faeries asks for them for quests, so I think this is part of the trouble. Another quest item that is skyrocketing are plain black sunglasses, but the fire faerie asks for them a lot (I help in the quest board).

I collect volcanic rocks. They go for 1NP in the shop wiz, most people throw them away rather than try to sell them. I have about 4700 of them, which at 10lb per rock is something like 23-24 tons. One day on a whim, I bought every volcanic rock on the shop wiz until the price on every index was at 5NP. The next day.... they were all back at 1NP, which is too bad because I was going to sell all mine at 4NP and scam dozens of people out of 3NP.
I guess I'm just not cut out for high-stakes collecting and trading. *sigh*.
