Alright pet, I would like it better if that smiling pose wasn't so...EVIL!

A cool pet idea? How about having some sort of pet like a penguin? i like penguins!

My theory is that it's for the upcoming return of marqia.The floating can indicate swiming.Or a faerie land pet.

The Bruce is a penguin.

It could use a revamp, speaking of the Bruce..

Huge let down. I was excited when I saw Mr Chipper but after seeing this it's nowhere near as good as I had hoped for. It's ok...but not 50th Neopet standard. Plus the name sucks and all it is is a Bori that fell into a shell-removing-colour-changing machine

Somehow, the name Mok makes me says Muk instead. >_<

The pet is okay to me. I don't hate it, but it don't impress me either.
There's too few originalities in this new pet. This pet would have been good if it didn't came so late in neo.

What would have been good would be a new aggressive pet, something close to the Skeith and Grarrl.

i wants me some mayan things.
you know, the winged snake (ermmmmmm sotek? tlazcotl.. quetzl.. well whichever it is)
or a swan.

But if they release an aggressive pet like a snake, some mommy in Antarctica or summat might sue because it made Little Logan want to pick up that copperhead out in the back lawn! "Aw, I was so sure he'd be sweet like SlitheringFluffyFeathers!"

Actually, I can see that being a magazine article in the near future.

I actually love this pet, though. I've always really liked otters, and I think it's fairly well-drawn. My only complaint is the name. Mok doesn't really relate to anything in particular, and I don't think it really fits the pet. Are there any leads as to the origin of the name so far? Like maybe a play on the word otter in a different language?

(And I think the pet is floating because we're supposed to picture it swimming in a river)

It's the claws, IMO. The claws is what make many see it as the Bori. I dunno why the claws cause such an impact. X.x

They have no similiarities past that. I suppose it's cause it's new. Giving it claws still seems wrong to me.

I'm getting a love/hate with the otter now. I hate it's huge ribcage and how the head seems huge to the body, but that's cause of the neck.
I dunno what to think of it now. I still don't truly hate it, but I don't like it much either.
The BD poses own very much.

Well the eyes and ears have just been flattened and slid backwards

Remove the shell from the bori and give it a light blue colour underneath

Change the underbelly on the Bori to a creamy white and make the Bori lift it's head

Then just transfer the claws over, close the mouth and colour the nose and you've got yourself a Mok with a weird tail that doesn't float.


Basically throw a Bori and a Meerca into the Cooking Pot and teach the outcome how to float

Mok sounds fun for me. o_O I like the name. :P

The eyes are completely different (both the color and the pupils), as are the ears. The bori's ears are large and pointed; the mok's are small and rounded.



Removing the shell from the bori does not make it a long, lean pet like the mok. It's still chunky.

Claws I'll give you -- that's the one similarity. Mouths are completely different; bori has a long snout and small mouth while mok has a short snout and a wide mouth. The noses are also completely different. You're really reaching here.
