Dear Neopets,

Thank you so much for cancelling the Sloth Plot in order to make the Hannah and the Ice Cave plot so much better. I especially liked the way the Bringer was defeated, I mean - who would have guessed that the Jewel that the Keeper of the Time was determined to keep off the Bringer as with it the Bringer could kill every Bori on Bori would actually kill the Bringer ?? Great ending by the way, I also loved Kanrik defecting from the thieves and being banished only to kill the former leader with a single blow and then having the thieves support him.

I loved the way the plot and the enemies lined up, especially the way that the fourtyeight thieves were outnumbered by the Bori Miner, Bori Guard and Kanrik. Sure there was also Hannah and Armin but Hannah was sick and trying to touch a stone whilst Armin was calling the Bringer a big meanie. Obviously the thieves stood no chance against the fierce forces.

Who would have guessed that the only Bori not frozen was the one with a stick magical enough to unfreeze Taelia. Personally I think her staying frozen would have been better but since you guys spent so much of the Sloth Plot time making the plot so good I'm obviously wrong. Thank goodness Taelia had the magical water that could cure Hannah...I don't think I could have lived with her being slightly ill from a devastating curse.

Oh I look foward to the Maraqua plot as well, I can't wait to see yet another Pirate Usul featuring in a plot, I just hope the plot is as good as the last one because I think that plot was the best one ever!

(Can you tell I have unresolved issues about the Sloth Plot not being used and a Usul replacing him ?? :P)

However in the case of the Hannah war, you've gotta agree that even a 12 year old is capable of avoiding the blunders TNT made. I mean, why in their right minds would TNT release old challengers for the thieves and fresh new ones for the Hannahites? Why would they end the war so suddenly without any prior warning, and without anyone defeating the war boss? Why was the battle between Kanrik and Galem such an anticlimax?

Don't attribute it to a lack of time on their part, since the waves came too fast that everyone was complaining. TNT did not have to rush them out like that, and could have taken a day or two to think through their actions and check for imbalances.

I don't mind so much about the war prizes being released late, since I believe it is a tedious process. It is inevitable that we will all get crappy prizes anyway, so there is no point hankering after it.

Oh, and nice "thank you for the crappy war" letters, Anderson and TDG. :P

Yes the thieves got jipped on the 2nd round of enemies and I was confused on why they would do that.

They didn't let us fight the main people like Armin, Hannah, Masila, and so on and so forth.

But you had featheralley and I saw quite a few thieves with higher scores then 3000 hannahs combined

Hannah had a ton of weak people that could barely beat the 1st wave rather the 2nd wave

It doesn't matter who we had. The number of people or the quality of battlers on either side should not be the deciding factor for which side gets better opponents. If so, the Hannahites would get ultra difficult ones to compensate for their numbers.

Amen. I like constructive criticism, but I always understand that The Neopets Team cannot cater to everyone's needs. If they worked on just unfreezing the accounts of PPT'ers and doing everything everyone wanted, then they'd go insane.

I sort of agree with these statements, yet I also disagree. :P

The way I see it, is I can totally see your side of the argument. I also think TNT should be cut some slack for thier hard work, to be honest I'm sure they are working pretty hard...(but perhaps on too many things at once?)

ON THE OTHER HAND, I really do think they shouldn't try to appease the masses by promising things on deadlines they can't seem to cover. They should just be up front and honest about the real time frames...if they were, there would be a lot less critizism.

If they would come out in the editorial, and instead of saying "Your war prizes will be done by the end on the week!" and said "You know, we have a lot on our hands right now, we're shooting to have war prizes finished by the 3rd of April." Yeah, I could live with that. At least then we know what to really expect. Sure it would be a bit dissappointing having to wait so long, but it is also LESS dissappointing having to wait until April 3rd *anyhow* when you've been anxiously waiting for your prize since they promised it would be out in the beginning of January. :P

Just like the Neoschools...they were to be out "the next week" and now....ermm..well, you know...over a year later we are still waiting.

I tend to agree with those that are bitter. Yes, we all know TnT are working hard, but the constant letdowns are very disappointing. I think they need to simplify. I think it's wonderful that they WANT to make it a better site releasing this and that, but in reality because they are wanting so much done, nothing gets done. They need to start realizing what are unrealistic expectations and what they can actually accomplish. I understand there are a lot of users and they are working hard to please people to the best of their abilities, but in doing so they are creating more problems for themselves.

But you see, he didn't go to Neopets to complain, he came here. And I welcome him with open arms because I totally agree the war was rushed. I hated how the second battle ended so abruptly. I could have gotten another 2-300 points. And if we're gonna play the game, it would be nice if we could get some prizes. I still have a feeling that we will, but it would be nice if they would tell us.

;) I made a NeoSchool timeline of all their promise on the old forums. :P Been promising since 2001.

If I recall correctly, the last war ended abruptly as well. And, people complained about it as well. And, people complained about the crummy prizes as well.

Neo makes the rules, decides on how the game is going to be played, and decides what prizes, if any, it is going to give out. If you don't like the game, don't play.

EDIT: And before I get icy skeletons thrown at me, let me add that this comes from a person who paid a few hundred thousand for a BTY limited edition plushie that was later turned into a flaming coconut--without any explanation or apology whatsoever from TNT. I was angry--I got over it. And, I continue to play the game.

Tested made this fabulous set for me!!! Isn't it great?
