Doesn't that really say something about the way some of the monitors think? It's just downright perverted, insulting, and wrong of/for them to do that.

I think now might be a good time to avoid the neopets forum for a while. I've only gone on it a few times and only posted to get the "Squawk" avatar.

Its not "poo" or dung that got you warned...remember Adam's pet?

Rachel stole me from the evil Adam, but she gave me back after I was healed of that awful poo stench! I was very happy with Rachel; she turned me back into a usul and I am Christmasy for the holidays. Happy Holidays!!! Oh, and Adam smells of poo. Thanks Adam for putting me in New Features!

Yeah, I always see those dung emoticons everywhere, "Buy my *dung*" or "*dung* happens!" Everyone knows what it stands for, I don't think anyone minds :roflol:

a moderator would see that as a major insult to sometbody, so they definetely warned you for giving somebody a hard time. They arent just around to stop bad words, but also because they would prefer that people were nice to eachother..... althought the day i see that on the neoboards, I will sell my big toe on ebay.

I don't and won't believe that. They were watching the whole board. They chose to warn that post and not the real insulting/rude ones.

It was hardly an insult you'd run home to your mum for anyway. If it was, then questions should be asked about who is emotionally ready to use the internet. Since no one forces you to read forums and misunderstand every little thing...

Anyway I wasn't asking for people to justify the teams actions. I'm pointing out how petty they have gone since I first joined only a couple of months after the site was launched. It just seems as if they are getting over the top. So much so that people can't have fun or joke and have to watch so closely what they say, that begs the question. Is there any point? Should we all just give out an email address we set up for talking to neofriends? Just incase a jestfull comment is taken to a higher level because some idiot didn't read it properly, and blatantly ignored actual swearing and insulting posted imediately before it in bright neon, size 20 text.

Another thing recently. A friend of mine had his userlookup cleared just because he had a cartoon picture of a vampire. It said inapropriate images. So theres another one to look at. Since neopets its self has images of a similar sort.

This picture I've seen myself. Was only the guys face with shades on. Slight (hardly any) blood on his lips. Hardly noticable to be honest. So someone has got to have been strangely offended, or maybe he was simply picked on. As we have seen before.

I'm just shocked at how easy it is t break the rules these days on the site. It's quite obvious somethings gone horribly wrong. So I'm not going to be doing anything like posting or neomailing from my main account now. Nor adding images apart from the ones what got accepted to the beauty contest. Since then I have backup if they do decide to condemn them later.

The fine line between right and wrong is almost invisible, and the site its self contradicts what it warns. It's annoyed me a bit this time.
But either way. Take this lot as a warning to everyone. I'll keep you posted should any more weird warnings pop up. Because I wouldn't doubt they would. It's almost inevetable...
