a flash game would take waaaaay too much data. even neoquest isn't flash.

Not if each player was it's own game.... or a group of 5 players at once.

Well if Neoquest was flash, it'd be praticially impossible to have our games saved :)

Hmm, this may seem farfetched, but how about if you could "upload" your deck to Neopets? They could add codes to the cards or something, allowing you to play with your RL deck against other people not just around you, but around the world.

Of course, this is coming from a person who doesn't have any Neopets merchandise other than a few random stickers.

This is a great idea! It seems...interesting.
Heh, and then Thyoras Tear TCG would be worth more. xD (Not like I have it.)

And Yoshi...you're making me think of Yu-Gi-Oh. Enter a 8-digit number from the card to the game, you own it in the game.

*looks at TCG cards*

Well, by the time they'd have an arena like that out, NeoSchools would probably come out too.

But using input codes would have a high possibility of abuse. Unless each was unique to itself, in which case, it would be a pain to code ;).

Well, some one can make it on apprentice.

Wouldn't it make more sense just to play against the computer, a la NeoQuest, but use cards that you purchase?

I'd think that would be easiest to program - just a simple PHP game that takes a look at your deck.

But how could they tell what cards you have? Codes could be duplicated and posted on the neoboards for others to use. Not everyone has a scanner, ect...

I think they should make the orginal and possibly one of the first expaisons(or say, any expasion that has been around for 6 months), avalible to use on the site, but leave the other ones so TGC players/collecters/ Neopets users who want "free" items will still buy the packs.

Hmmm, maybe I'll make one when I have time. ;)

Actually, I meant the digital TCG cards, not the real ones.

I think they are able to do it. If they can program the battledome and the neoquest 2 game, I think a TCG game is possible. Of course I don't know anything about programming or coding or whatever but the concepts seem similar. If only TNT would take the idea...

I dont think anyone is saying this is impossible. I sure there are people here that could program a simple TGC game. Id just be surpized if we were to see it, because TNT doesnt want to do anything that could possibly hurt their profits or take more than half a scoop of icecream's worth of calories to burn off.

Actually, if as Shapu suggested, they made a game that used the virtual TCG as opposed to the RL ones, there shouldn't be any impact on the sale of the RL TCG. Let's be honest, the RL TCG? Alot of people buy them just for the RIC and the cards end up sitting and collecting dust.

There aren't that many places (at least around here) that even sell the cards and less places that have the TCG tournaments or places to just meet others and play the game. Maybe an on-site virtual game would generate more interest in the RL cards.

Right now, the ones on the site, aside from the few needed for avatars, are basically useless and very hts. They should make these cards useable for something.

I'm sure the programming would be a nightmare (but I'm no programmer), but they could almost make it something like how you equip your pet with weapons - you have the cards in your inventory or a special album and click on them to activate them to play on the site - and of course it would have to be a multi-player game.

Might be something for them to think about doing!
