But they can freeze you for playing games too slow. Happened to me two years ago -- I got frozen for "cheating" on Volcano Run because my computer was slow. I got unfrozen later, luckily. I actually still use that computer, although I've upgraded the RAM and I'm careful to play games on low quality in a small window. Meerca Chase 2 still runs slow, but that doesn't help me any -- it actually makes the game harder because it lags when I press a key, making steering the Meerca pretty tough. It's not even worth trying to slow it down, in my opinion.

(And yes, TNT is aware of those computer-slowing programs, and they have said using them is considered cheating.)
