yay!!! got my hands on my first neopets plushie!!! 
i feel so ripped off...
you can't buy it alone...i know...i asked at compasspoint macdonalds...
thank goodness there's the new chicken foldover...that brightened up my evening a bit...
okay...so here's my acc...
i went to the packed store with my mum...
asked the guy whether i could buy it alone...
he said no. you HAVE to buy it WITH an EVM...
so i did...
he asked which want i wanted...i thought it was like a random thing...i guess not...all the first seven toys were displayed...
i asked for the uni and he looked so blur...
so i said i wanted the blue horse...
and he just put it in a plastic bag!!!
No BOX!!!
the toy came with a free card (Snow faerie globe).
that's it...no rare item code...
thank goodness my mum said it's on her...
now i only need the purple chomby, the cloud aisha, the white uni and perhaps the red shoyru...
ps.
i went to junction8 in bishan and found out that if you spend more than $30 in single receipt or otherwise, you can redeem for a purple chia...
it's fugly...

Ok, there is one thing that is good. you get to choose the pets you want. 
I might be buying those plushie from Yahoo auction or go down to clark quay on Sunday fea market.
edit: Somebody is selling the whole set for $150.

Wow, the promo there is different than in the US - you have less plushies I think? And you have to pay extra for them even with a meal? Eeek, here we pay for the plushie if we're just buying them. On the good side, you can choose which one you want and it looks like they have the promo much better organized, like certain plushies are week 1, then others week 2, etc.
Here, all the Micky D's got all different plushies and there were so many of them! It was impossible.
I do think it was pretty cool to be able to go online and reserve a set, if you were lucky enough to be in that group of 200 that was put aside. I would definitely have gone for that! Stares at box full of Micky D neo plushies ... hmmm, maybe ebay? They've taken over my house!!!

The online reservation is not working for me. Anyway, I dun think I will get every neopets.
I saw people selling the full set for $90, yah the prices are dropping. There were people selling each toy for $3 too. I might get the ones I like from these people instead of stuffing myself with mcdonalds.

You get to pick what you get!!? Wow...If only I could have. Heehee, in the US you just got whatever they were giving out that day. And most of the time for some reason it was yellow Aishas. ^__^ So now I have three yellow Aishas, an orange Aisha, a green Yurble, a blue Uni and a green Yurble. (And no, I didn't put myself through all that gross fast food. Friends gave most of them to me in school!)
I still want a Lupe one.
