Also, I've never thought anything inappropriate about Lord_Nword until I read that you had been frozen. Selective snesitivity is a beautiful thing.

Hmmm. . .how come all the ones Val finds, they freeze but not the others? Especially this one: -edited- ? Look at the name on the account, not to mention how old the account is! And why won't they freeze an old account like that but they will freeze an account like nwords? Not fair!

I only looked at the description and pet name.. I just realised the account name.

Val great jod on pointing out those names.. and for once I would like to say great job to the Neo staff for taking action on those names that deserved to be deleted off of the site.

Think the staff might keep a closer eye on some of the names from now on .. that or keep commin to PPT to find the offencive user/pet names.

Holy cow, how in the world did these names ever make it threw the filter?? These are just down right rude and nasty and I'm 31 and take offence to them.

I didn't realize there were that many user names/pet names that really shouldn't be able to get throught the filters..

Geez, whose next? Lord Nword wouldn't hurt a fly. This reminds me of when Breloom was frozen. Total innocents. Some of the nicest people on the planet--and now, you will be looked upon by some as a rascist. My heart goes out to you.



And, yet, I am just the opposite. I never even thought of that connotation--and my guess is that Lord Nword ever did either--otherwise, he wouldn't have made the name in the first place. I honestly thought of it as a cute variation of the word "sword." And, I have seen much worse--and people that aren't frozen in an instant like the ones Val just mentioned. How about smurf. I found that one today--been playing for 2 years. I found that very offensive because my daughter's name is Nat and she might be a pain in the neck, at times, but I would never dream of calling her a "pi__."

I really think that Neo should take much more into consideration before freezing someone--definitely the number of months the person had been playing, at the very least. I am not saying that there should be a special status for long-time players, but maybe that Neo should realize that if a person has been on for over a year, they must be trying really hard to obey the rules and wouldn't do anything to jeopardize all of the time put into their accounts.

And, if it was so bad, why did it slip through the filters. And, if they changed the filters after the fact, they should have let him know that they now felt the word was offensive and given him the opportunity of changing the name of the account (I mean, honestly, how darned hard could it actually be to change the name of the account--banks and financial institutions do it all of the time on their accounts when a woman marries, it isn't physically impossible to do. They act like it is akin to moving a mountain).

I am so sorry for you, Lord Nword. I have always, always looked up to you and valued your insight and opinion. If there is anything I can do, please PM me.

EDIT: Ha, PPT caught the badness in that username by inserting the word "smurf" above and yet it is on Neo without a problem. The user name I was trying to write is Natapi and then two more letters, both s right after it.

They are obviously offensive.. Novody makes these names if they really wanna play neo..

Sure, many are old. None are actually that active. I think what we are doing is the right thing to do.

And I just want your opinion.

Can we please refrain from posting these usernames/petnames with vulgar terms... some of these are filtered words and although I'm not considering punishment for it, it's best to avoid them period.
