I don't know why, but I love Island pets and petpets. My dream is an Island Krawk (already got the transmog potion and pb set aside for my lab pet, someday) with an Island krawk petpet (not released, but got the petpet pb for the day when they are!).

I like the Royal (Male) Korbat and the Baby and Halloween Yurble. I just love those colors.

Maraquan Draiks and Krawks, Pirate Eyries, Darigan Peophins, Darigan Aishas, Darigan Eyries, Desert Lupes, Halloween Kougras, and Spotted and Shadow Gelerts, are my favorties. I also like blue alot. And jelly pets are cool.

Off the top of my head: Darigan Peophin, Darigan Aisha, Maraquan Draik, Maraquan Buzz, Robot Kougra.
The only one I have is the Darigan Peophin. I think the Maraquan Draik is my all-time favorite color/pet combo on the site, but the color doesn't seem to fit any of my 4 pets, and I don't want to start a second account of permanent pets since I know I'd neglect them. So I guess I'll save myself a lot of NP and just admire Maraquan Draiks from afar. :-)
I also find the Faerie Bori strangely appealing, and I think that may be what I paint the pet I have still looking for a permanent color.

I forgot to add Spotted Koi. :) It's just like a real koi fish. :P
