ARGH!!!!!
I've only managed to reach the Stowaway Sting stage twice and both times I got killed almost instantly. I just can't get the timing on the ICM part right, so I nearly always get killed there.
Once you get the hang of it, level 5 is easier than level 4. At least in the Stowaway Sting level it's clear what tool you need to use (bubble for spikes, orange helmet for orange baddie, green shield for green baddie) - the trick is reacting fast enough to use them, rather than the guesswork involved in choosing between helmet/shield in ICM. The fast reacting does come with practice; for level 4 you need a bit of judgement and a lot of luck. Get a big headstart over Scram in the first three levels so that you can take your time in the final two.
Cdtcasper: The deck holes in level 5 are always at ground level and look a bit like spikes, except they're brown. I had assumed they WERE spikes until I hit one when I had two lives (I think) and instantly died. Normally you can jump over them, no prob.
Cookiemunster: How weird. Have you tried clearing your cache and forcing the game window to reload the game with Ctrl-F5?
This game has the feel of something that was rushed out without serious testing. I can't say I blame TNT for that - considering it's only a one-day thing, it would have been a waste of their time to work too hard on it. It was designed to be difficult but it CAN be completed. And if not for the glitches, I reckon it would really be quite a nifty game.
