I figured out why I don't like those Lutari Island shopkeepers. They look like they've been crayoned on, rather than having those marks be a natural or at least tattooed look. The colors just don't look like a permanent part of the pet.
*shrug* Maybe I'll like it better when we have actual Lutari Island pets. Then again, maybe not.

I think the reason the Lutari pets look as they do is because they are not exactly painted a new color. It is more of 'war paint' if you will. Wich would be really cool if your pet got to stay teh same color and the lutari paint went over that color..... okay that's unlikely but a nifty idea

Not exactly "war" paint...but, almost like tribal paint, like Native's put on when say, at a pow-wow, or a big ceremony. Like I've said before, the Lutari PB is looking like a Native PB. It's cool, I like it, I want one

Facepaint.... Grass skirts... feathers... decorative bands.... a festive theme! Thats original! Im glad we dont have a world like that allready! Much less, an island!
