I've yet to catch any either :( And I thought of that as well but it does say on the user's lookup that they're a neopets monitor so it at least appears that it's a TNT account (plot related maybe?)...

It could be just an account they set up to "run" the event.

I've caught many, but they all slip through my hands. Anyone held on to one?

Actually I just noticed that scamander-in-chief is the one on the money tree and it says nothing exists for that user but scamander_in_chief is the neopets monitor. Strange... o_O
