When I was much younger, I was a fan of those old Sonic comics... These comics are more than vaguely reminiscent of them, except the art is a lot better and the scripting is somewhat lackluster.

I like how a great deal of the comic's humor comes from everything except what the characters and narrator say, which is supposed to be taken seriously.

Is anyone sure if that's Doctor Sloth? The minister does look green, but then there's a purple Grarrl that seems to be doing most of the talking on the next page who has the appearance of a minister.
