after beating Zombon on evil, its not as hard as it seems.

Yes, once you get Mipsy on ANY DIFFICULTY, you feel powered by her spells. Once you get her, life is easy.

Normal Prizes are worth Under 15k for all of them My polish I got was worth 7k.

Evil prizes are worth about 1 million, 400k and 70k.

Oh. I thought the items were more like 100k each. O well. Ill just have to do evil too then.

The item I got on evil is worth about 350k. But I think one of the evil ones is worth about a mil. I also think one of them is buyable. I remember looking them up on neoitems and pricing out all the prizes. I think nearly all of the insane ones are well over a mil.

Tooth of Terask: Not sure, but buyable.
Ramtors Spellbook: Around 1.1 million?
Scuzzys Comb: 1 million.
Halo of Devipuss: 350k.

Insane:

Staff of Righteous Fury: 1.4 million.
Sword of Apocalypse: 2.2
Bow of Destiny and Wand of Reality: 4 million.

(they're all the final weapons for Rohane, Mipsy, Tailina, and Velm in the game, but it's not acually possible to own them all in the game)

The rough prices. I just beat Ramtor in the castle, now I'm heading off to his tower. So far only one armour and one weapon from a monster. I'll be level 18by the time I reach the tower. Then I can gain level 19 and 20 in his tower, and against him. I forgot to buy damage potions in Seaisde, but I'll survive.

EDIT: I beat him. Two more screenshots on Hazard_Hero's page. Phew! That ws hard. Survived by 9 Hp and mesmerized Mipsy

What level should I be for the Cave of terror? Shouldn't I be level 24 (twenty four) when I meet Tailina? So I'd have to gain gain one level in the southern pass, and 3 in the Cave of Terror! That's too much!

21: Southern Pass
22: Southern Pass, if there's not enough EXP you'll gain it (this level) in the Cave of Terror.
23: Cave of Terror
24: Northern Pass
25: Southern Canyons
26: Lost Cave 1
27: Lost Cave 2 and 3
28: Lost cave 4
29: Terror Mountain Peak
30: The peak, if possible. If not Scuzzy's boost is okay. And if then you're still not 30, you can train in the Lost Desert.

I'm seriously considering starting Insane. Does anyone have any tips for what skills to go for? I don't really think I can afford to waste any skill points

Chose your skills for the final fight. I.e., Mipsy's GD and Velm's mesmerization won't be useful in the final fight against Terask, so I am not spending any points on it. Also, when you play insane level up until you are sick of it. Before I got Mipsy, I was fighting monsters that were only giving me 10-20 exp...it took forever, but once I got to Zobom I beat him with no problems and had enough skill points to make Mipsy a force to be reccond with. Same with when I picked up Talina and Velm. I am now at level 47, just beat the spider grundo and should be in pretty good shape by the time I go through the happy non-haunted house and come to the faeries.

Deevil, thanks for those tips. I might try them out if/when I attempt Insane again - I think my problem I didn't level up enough, because I was so impatient.

Wow, I fought those four at level 48 on normal o.O no wonder they were SO easy! I ended chapter three at level 42 The first level of the pyramid is so huge, I gained level 40 and 41

Basically, there's no set level. I'm at Level 25 in Happy Valley, but I'm on Evil. If you're having trouble with monsters before the boss, you're going to have trouble with the boss itself.

I'd recommend about level 22-23 to beat Kolvars, assuming you haven't already beaten him.

I beat kolvars at 20 but I had to use frost potions.

I'm catchin' up. I'd acually reccomend level 24. I'm level 24 right now, entering that maze before Klovars (Northern Pass), so by the time you reach him, you'll be level 25. I don't really need damage potions at all, except for quite difficult bosses which might need damage potions. Personally, I don't need damage potions except for act bosses, and possibly other superior bosses (non-act bosses).

Tailina doesn't seem to do as much damage as Rohane, even though her increased bow damage is level 10 :?

Pol, no offense but you're REALLY underleveled. Even I fougght him on normal at level 24.
