I meant in the fact that waiting until after you've scored above AAA to press the challenge button, that's like (well, actually, that IS) challenging somebody to a dare that you've already beaten.

They may as well just take the highest score you've done for that day and award you the prize accordingly at rollover, instead of having you choose.
The only reason I waited was because I was waiting to hear back if it was a Double Dare -- then I figured out I could hit the Double Dare button and saw that it was. Like I said, I usually do click on the challenger first (e.g., Meerca Chase I challenged AAA and then had to work really hard to beat him, but I knew I could).

ETA: Ventured on the Neoboards and others were having the same problems, and then someone said they finally had a score go through, so I played a third time and it actually worked. So it's safe to send scores again.

Mmmkay.

Double Dare doesn't feel much different from a normal challenge, eh? I wish there was some additional element to it that made it feel like there was something actually at stake.

Completely agree. It should be an even higher score than AAA's or something... really, who won't qualify for both the Ultimate and the Double Dare prize? There should be a little something for Abi challengers who get all the double dares, though (besides the double prizes).

I'm glad the three-score day was an easy game like Wingoball (thanks to those awesome guides) and not a hard one like Meerca Chase. But I am hoping to see some harder challenges soon, more like the first day.

I'm kid of disappointed with the double dare feature too. There is no extra skill or difficulty involved, so there is absolutely n difference between The Ultimate Prize and Scoretacular.

With the AAA scores being a bit lower this year, the Abi scores being as low as ever, and the prizes for the double dare being both AAA's and Abi's prizes, I would have made the score to beat for the double dare the sum of AAA's and Abi's scores.

I'm surprised the Double Dare scores have been so low, too, but think of this-most people are going to go for the Double Dares, which means that The Ultimate Prize reward is going to be even more rare than usual.

Another easy game, but the game is also quite fun, and the music is bearable!

Plus it exposes a structural weakness in Sloth's spacecraft: objects launched from a slingshot.

Day 11 - Spacerocked!

AAA - 5000 (a lot easier than you think it'd be, just practice a bit)

Grey Rock Mobile

Abigail - 500

I would have preferred this had been a wearable somehow.

Lulu - 575

Woot! Finally beat Itchy Invasion. Save the "pest" ammo recharge treat for the meowclops level. Put in all the letters except "t" and then when you need that powerup, just hit the "t" button on the keyboard.

Spacerocked: Beat my high score and got over 14k. Finally, something easy.

I think I'm going to save trying Meerca Chase again until tomorrow. I just can't play the gravity well one which I think is the key to the game :(

Careful with this. TNT has said in the editorial that deliberately slowing your computer down is cheating. How they would detect it, I'm not sure, but it's better to play by the rules.

You don't have to play it well; just keep restarting until you get a fish negg (well, practice enough so you can at least capture the first negg wherever it is).

Agreed that today's was ridiculously easy. I hadn't played this one in quite a while because its ratio had gotten low, but I see that it's high again, so I guess I'll add this to favorites again. For those having trouble, launch the rocket high on full green, then keep your finger on 'b' so that if you get too close to a geyser or a pipe, you can launch into the air before you die (just don't do it too close to the end of the level). Hitting anything else is chance, but you should easily get over 10000 if you complete all levels, so just focus on getting to the end.

Eek! I didn't realise that. I did however get a score of around 800 without slowing down the computer but I promise I'll be good in the future. I should have realised it - I apologise to all.

Incoming robot clowns!

Day 12 - Carnival of Terror

AAA - 450 (not that hard)

Pie Tin Hat

Abigail - 75

Clown Chia Pencil

It's probably glad that you didn't put it on the other end of the pencil.

Lulu - 125

I'm not sure how getting hit with a golden pie is much better than getting hit with a normal pie.

Remember kids, shoot the necks only (which will instantly destroy the torso) to conserve ammo until you're down to a third of your clock, then let loose on anything you can lay your sights on. Don't bother with health crates when you could be blocking pies, and two codes are there to help.

custard - full health
piecrust - full ammo

That second one will be a life saver. I hope you're a fast typer, though.

Aha! Thanks for the codes. I thought there was one for increasing time....and then was surprised when custard upped the health!

I've seen on many guides to shoot the arms and umbrellas first to get more points...how much do you get for a torso?

Edit: 409 ARGH!

Those are old guides. The point system changed with the revamp to the game...basically all the body parts are now insignificant points compared to the torso, making them obstacles to your score.

Like I've mentioned, the neck part (or any exposed yellow area below the head, not including the arm) is the key to killing them in one shot, and using your ammo wisely, since it's six points a torso and that's the most you'll get in one hit. However, when your time is down to between a half and a third (depending on how well and fast you shoot, and how much ammo you have left....taking the code into consideration), there's not much need to conserve and at that point you'll be wanting to shoot anything and everything you can (although you should still make sure you get the torso before it gets away).

450 points is not as bad as they could have made it.

My highest was slightly lower than AAA's score, but I beat it easily. 12/12

I thought I might have had to do a few hours of practise, but I must of just been very lazy with my previous score.
