After all, how often are you in a really dangerous multiple-enemy fight?

Try Nox's bodyparts on insane. They're not fun at all. :)

I'm trying (and probably getting annoyed on the way) to go for a 5x11+4 strategy (insane mode) -- putting 5 skills to 11 points, getting the final weapons, and then spending the last 4 skills to even out anything left (it's optimistic, I know, but it can work).

Generally, I'm all for Talinia's Multiple targets (but only to Fourth Arrow, or equipment bonuses). It's nice to have another anti-group attack later on in the game. I've no clue about shockwave (never used it, never felt the need to stun the whole group for a second).

Terask II is a nightmare however you look at him - Rohane's damage is halved, Velm gets trashed by the damage shield in direct attacks (and [almost] can't cast Hammer), Talinia gets reduced damage, and Mipsy hardly ever hits. Overall, it all depends on what (and how soon) Terask casts. In theory, any group can get trashed by a human playing as Terask (mesmerize Rohane, Mipsy and Talinia, and keep attacking velm untill he's dead -- piece of cake afterwards). In a related theory, if the odds are against you, you have no chance of beating Terask (luckily, the chance for that strategy actually happening is minimal).

4 HANDS of NOXES on INSANE? That's truly insane :o

Hmmm...it's pretty rare to get armour and weapons on evil for me. My god!

I put Tailinas multiple targets on Trinity Barrage (level 8) when I first got her. I acually thought fourth arrow was level 15 :P ANyway, I'd only reccomend fourth arrow (level 11) as her future bows will ubdoubtedly have multiple targets bonuses.

If you'e up against four hands then you'll wanna kill fast: Mipsy's DD. Yeah, I totally skipped ox. Especially on insane. What a waste of 16 corrodes, I didn't wanna backtrack to the house, so I continued on.

Tailinas slowing strike and shockwave: I'd say they're worth it. The SS can add onto each other, and shockwave could stun. Multiple targets + slowing strikes are a great combo, as when you fire a spray of arrows the slowing strike working for all of your enemies. However, the downside is the targets need to recharged. So anyway level 11 is enough for Multiple Targets :)

In my opinion Terask II was pretty hard on Normal. He kept healing :x Rohane's critical did 73 at like....level....I dunno. It usually did around 150.

I have a question, is it worth investing in Innate Melee/magic Defense? or should that just be left alone?

I would say it is if you have extra points, especially with Mipsy since she'll be prone to dying otherwise.

Like I said, if you're unlucky enough to hit 4 Hands of Nox, that could be bad. :-) (I haven't ever done that, though.)

Wow. :o I wish I had your luck. They wouldn't leave me alone!

Talinia has lots of cool skills, and no +4 final weapon, so I decided I'd rather not spend the extra points.

She doesn't? I recall that she does. It's just that you're not always going to get it.

Innates are majorly important. I kept takin direst hits from magic when I first played, and thought they were pointless. I maxed it out after that :P

Insane, yes, but not uncommon. There is a reason not many people have completed it in comparison to Normal, and Evil.

Ok, another question.

I'm currently in Chapter 2, almost ready to enter the Lost Caves. What level should I be at when I get out so I can fight Scuzzy?

I'm on Insane, btw.

well, although it's high I think that 28-31 would be a nice range for fighting Scuzzy on insane. Then again, I'm overly keen on being on the safe side of things.

Which is a good thing to be keen on when you're fighting on Insane difficulty.

Amen, I hadn't been expecting Insane to be so hard. I died 6-7 times around Rohanes home town cause I hadn't thought to level up. I was at lvl6 by the time I left his home.

Iconoplast's sagely advice is a must have for Insane: "Don't worry about turning around and running back when you run low on potions or are too weak."

I did all act bosses with +4 levels on insane (24/Ramtor,34/Scuzzy,44/Anubits,54/Esophagor). Works wonders, really.

Anyhow, I'm slowly nearing Terask. :)

Wow, you have too much patience.

I says for normal: Ramtor: level 20 Scuzzy: level 30 Anubits: level 40 Esaphagor: level 50.

Add one level for evil, 2 for insane. So scuzzy at level 32. To be honest I fought Anubits on normal at level 42 and he was TOO easy.

The innates are very important: You'll take direct damages from DD and GDD, and you wouldn't wanna be slow.

My friend once for 4 hands of nxes on normal, and they killed Velm and Mipsy :o

What level should I be to fight Zombom in Evil? I'm currently level 11 and I got killed by his guards 9I ran out of potions).

What patience you have young Hunter. :) I basically stuck to the normal levels my second time playing Insane. I was a bit over leveled in the first few acts, but that wore off.

The guards will be harder to kill than Zombom. For Evil, I fought him around level 12. Once you think you can take Zombom, just make a dash for him, skipping the guards.

:o I'm only facing Anubits at Level 43 or 44. It's not very high, no. :(
I hope I get a Bow of Destiny/Staff of Reality. Their the most expensive. :D
