Looking for matches for:
Image
I'm still saving for the baby PB- I'm 75% done, but I decided not to spend it until December... I'll be able to afford a matching petpet by then, no?

I'm thinking:
ImageImage
(since I already have the liobits) but want other ideas as well. cheaper (20-30k and under) petpets preferred (because I'm a cheapskate )

My pet's a very naughty, and playful little boy, and he'll probably be using his (future) cuteness to charm his way out of trouble. He's also my BD pet (nothing like seeing Balthazar whooped by a kitten!)... color and/or personality matches are ok. He currently has a greeble, but I'll be moving that to my (future) mutant hissi, because the contrast gives it comedic tension:

Thanks in advance! :)

I think it's pretty good- they look very naughty together. Or you might want to consider:

*sorry about the long post*

I was taking a look at my kau on my side (the one who I was thinking of painting Darigan), and it occured to me that all the other pets on that account are water pets.

So, I'm thinking of painting her something water-related instead. But I'm not sure what. I was leaning towards the Maraquan Gelert, because it's feminine and graceful (which I figured fit her shy, cautious nature), and I figured the MP would be cheaper than the species MP and brush combined, but I see it's going on the trades for 2.5 million right now, so my train of thought is now: so long as I'm saving that much money....

With no limits on species, what aqua (or amphibian, which I'd honestly prefer) pet would look best with these two fellas? Bonus points if it's an LE pet. :P

ImageImage

Vo (the Lut) is probably going to be painted in the distant future, which is why I'm not going to be picky about color matching. All help is greatly appreciated. :)

Would look cool with the Koi, and is really quite cheap :) Also can be easily portrayed as cautious and timid - with a talented artist x)

Any petpet suggestions for a faerie peophin and a halloween peophin? They both currently have abominable snowballs hehe. Many thanks in advance!

For satiran:

For a while now, I've been zapping one of my pets for a Faerie Peophin, and consequently I've been thinking about what Petpet to get him/her (stupid lab ray keeps changing it). Here's some of my favorites:

Image

From top to bottom, left to right: Catamara, Faerie Searex, Faerie Doglefox, Tanizard, Faerie Peo, Faerie Feepit, White Primella, Faerie Baby Fireball, White Ona.

I actually don't like the white ones on the bottom all that much. I thought they might pick up the color in the Peophin's hair, but no dice. Anyway, all the others match pretty well as far as color's concerned. If you're on a tight budget, I'd highly recommend the plain ol' Tanizard. It's fairly inexpensive (compared to the others), no need to buy a seperate petpet paint brush, and it has a pose similar to the Faerie Peophin ("Don't just stand there, let's get to it, strike a pose, there's nothing to it...").

EDIT: For the Halloween Peophin...do you like any of these? Some of 'em are kind of expensive, unfortunately... =\

Hi Rakumel, those are really great ideas! What pet do you have now? I got my faerie peophin way back when (haven't been playing for about 3/4 years now) when faerie paintbrushes were 40/50k, oh those were the days! :)

I had a bit of a look round and these are my faves so far for the faerie peophin (in no particular order):

Image
ImageImageImageImage
L-R faerie snowickle, faerie peo, faerie searex, tanizard

For my halloween peophin, now that's troublesome lol. Nothing quite seems to match! I do like the bloop though :) Not too sure about the seti... seems a bit serious!

L-R bloop, black baby fireball, seti, ghosterchief

Wha.... Did the forum eat my post? o_O I spent half an hour typing that I had decided on the mutant Hissi and explaining why (in part due to Anoohilator's suggestion I get a mutant pet), and I even threw in some potential matches for aekre's robot Zafara. I'm 99% that post went through....

Anyway, thank you for the suggestions, sparklingsnowflake02 and Anoohilator. :)

I have no idea how much the robot ppb costs, but my favorite of the bunch is the spyder. <3

Thanks, satiran. The pet I'm zapping for Faerie Peophin is currently a Spotted Wocky. (Side account, she's not on my main.) If it were me, I'd definitely go with either the Searex or the Tanizard for a petpet, but it's totally up to you. You know your pet best, after all!

The Halloween Peo, yeah, that's gonna be harder. The options you have there are really good, though. Maybe asking this will help; would you rather the petpet complement your pet in personality, or form and color? I mean, I'm sure you'd like both, but if you had to make a choice, which would you prefer?

eilu, if you haven't made up your mind about a petpet for your Baby Kougra, would you mind a few more suggestions?

ImageImageImageImageImageImage

Plushies often make good matches for Baby pets. It's a pricey personality match (over your 20-30K limit =\ ) but the Plushie Mirgle looks pretty sneaky. ("So, Brain...what do you want to do tonight?") Eizzil is also a bit expensive now, but it's rarity 73, so I expect the price will drop. The others kind of hover around the 13-40K price range...without the Plushie petpet PB. =\

ImageImage
Or he could sculpt some custard into a new friend. "Junior! Stop playing with your food!"

Image
"Yes, <i>mum.</i>"

Or maybe he could have an invisible petpet that he could blame things on? *shrug*

My pets' personalities change depending on my mood *lol* so for me, the safest bet is to choose based on colour.

I'm thinking the faerie peo for my faerie peo (haha geddit) and the seti for my halloween peo... But based on price I might have to go for a tanizard! :) Rakumel, do keep in touch and let us know when you manage to zap your wocky to a faerie peo - how long have you been at it?

Officer 1BDI, the mutant hissi rocks! I can so see it as a BD pet :)

aekre, I like your robot zafara + the robot chicken thing - the combo makes me grin, it's like having a slightly doofy sidekick :)

Thanks Officer 1BDI for the suggestions!

Satiran, the combo of those two is funny :) It's one of my favourites.

I think my favourites so far are these:

I guess I better start saving my NP.

Some more petpets for Nefasturris:

ImageImage
Not a good color match at all, but I love the identical poses.

More Geraptiku matches:
ImageImageImageImageImage
From left to right: Quetzal, Mimbi, Tapir, Tekkal. I like the colors on the Mimbi, and the shape of the Tapir. The reason why I'm throwing in some blue petpets is, it brings out the little bit of blue on the Desert Scorchio.

Desert matches:
ImageImageImageImageImageImage
The belly of the Ersim and the back of the Grackle Bug also echo the stripes on the front of the pet. The Selket is just an excellent color match; the Djuti not so much, but close, and the thing around its neck is similar to what the Sorchio's wearing. Crystacat, I like for the overall shape and markings.

And finally, a couple of Altadorian petpets:
ImageImage
The Hydruplit for its dragon-like appearance, color, and overall awesomeness, and the Vaeolus for the flames and somewhat for the shape. I also like the Moltenore satiran picked out, for much the same reason. :)

Petpetpets:
ImageImageImage
Scoach, Flankin, Lady Blurg.

ImageImageImage
This is my favorite grouping, but I'll let you play around with the suggestions given here and come up with your own.
