Hello all! I'm new to the thread because - well - I'm new to the plot too. I was away on a long holiday recently and had completely forgotten about Altador when I got back - it was only dropping in on PPT yesterday and seeing 'Altador Walkthrough' that made me go 
!
So, I've spent the last 40-odd hours chasing around catching up with the plot. You guys rock. The water plant gave me a hard time at first, but when I sat down for some serious Mad Wizard Plumbing, it all came together within a few minutes. Now I'm up-to-date, it's time I helped with all the speculation!
....ANYWAY, I've been through this whole thread and this hasn't been mentioned here. If it's in a previous thread, you may drown me in a vat or something.
Lookup Neopets user 'jerdana' - http://www.neopets.com/randomfriend.phtml?user=jerdana . There's a trading card about the character that states "She was one of the rulers of Talador. Was, that is, before the Darkest Faerie arrived." Talador?? Just a typo for Altador (repeated in the text above the card) or...?
Besides that, here's what's suspicious about this account. The user has only played 4 games and has a size 1 shop, so how has she raised the money to give one of her pets such ungodly statistics?
And what's with the familiar 'JerdanaLight' Aisha pet and the unusual and incredibly powerful 'JerdanaDark' Shadow Uni??

I seem to remember seeing something about this... but at the time it seemed farfetched. I do still doubt that the staff would use an account (esp. one that's not really... really old) but this one does have some age on it, and seems like it might be viable... yet still... something here strikes me as odd... it just looks to unprofessional, not to mention that there are no clues leading to this.
Above all, i find it really odd that if TNT were to make such a site, that there would be no clues hidden in it... at least none that i could find
Regarding her abundance of money and lack of ways to make it, it could be a hack (Gasp, i know, but it has happened before: http://www.pinkpt.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=26693 )
And as for Talador... Altador was going to be called Talador for many months before it came out, but for some reason they decided to switch the name... I'm fairly sure that the old name is irrelevant now.

Wow I have been gone since I finished the second to last constellation and the last one still isn't up!I kind of feel sorry for those sitting and staring until it comes up (of course not all of you are)

Okie, that clears up the Talador name weirdness. Can anyone who's played the PS2 game shed any light on Jerdana's involvement in it? If any?
It COULD be a hack, but I personally think that's less likely than 'Jerdana' being a staff account. And if I were a hacker, I'd a) enhance my other pet too and b) cover my tracks by at least playing a bunch of games and making my account look like it belonged to a serious Neopets player. I guess it could also be someone's side account, but if so they're walking a very fine line of what's allowed.
The unprofessional design and moderate age of the account could be ploys to make the account look normal, so you wouldn't think to look at the petpage where the clues might be. I'm not certain about it by any means, but if I were a clue on a user account, I'd hide there.

It could be alot of things. A side account perhaps. Anyone with a lab map can get freaky stats and colours. I won't 100% say no, since I'm not that arrogant, but there are many many non plot points that can explain this account. If you can get a clue out of it great, until then it's pretty useless.

It probably is a staff account. No lab map could get stats that good (or you would have heard about that pet by now, heh). Whether it is still useful in the plot is up for debate, however, my friend said that Jerdana was mentioned as evil in the Neopets Magazine. I do not receive it, and cannot remember the full details, but it would be logical for her to be the betrayer. I remember the details involving Jerdana as the Queen of Altador, then something happening. I'll have to ask my friend tomorrow the full details.

I think that just has to do with the fact that, supposedly, as the darkest faerie was attacking Altador, Jerdana was forced to lock the city out of time so that it would survive. There has been a lot of specualtion that that's what caused everyone's memory of Altador to be erased, so I think that would support that theory more than her being evil or anything. Although, Jerdana being evil WOULD certainly be an interesting twist...

I think its definately a staff account... nobody who cares enough to train their pet that much would play so few rounds in single-player bd. Another thing is the lack of avatars... anybody who's earned enough to fund that pet had to have explored and by luck should have stumbled onto more than those few. Thirdly, with a shop that small the person would have extreme difficulty making np at a high enough rate to pay for that. I believe the clue lies in that she has a stronger dark pet than light so she is mostly evil.

The news also says this a couple lines down: "Okay, we're just kidding about the whole Altador-plot-being-over thing.
The 12th is coming. We were delayed a bit, unfortunately, but we hope to have it released by next week!"
