Elric, thanks for your explanation. Perhaps it did not work because we were using my "alternative" server star_data. If you have time to float me another set of coordinates for the other set I sent you, that would be mighty cool but at this point of course just thank you for all your help. :)

Dolphinling, you have truly spoiled us. ;)

Did anyone else think of a certain chocolate from that? Maybe just me.

I think what Dolphinling is trying to say that the bug has been fixed - but will only be applied the next time the servers syncronise, whenever that is. So, no, you won't have to wait around for small windows that will be unknown, but that once the next time comes and goes, the problem will have been solved on all servers leaving us with a happy existance on only 1 star map each.

We still have to wait for an update to do anything else though I feel.

I need to stop getting my hopes up:P Failing to find any matches with my normal size gem panels I decided to stretch a few of them and put them over the whole starmap. The two I tried each had exactly 6 gems covering 1 star each. Alas, no luck. Also been floating to parts of the site I don't normally go to looking for some sort of clue or coordinate hints, but no luck there either. Seems easier than randomly selecting stars.

Zinger...not to discourage your method, but unless you have a WHOLE lot less stars than me you're gonna be at it more than an hour...I have 286 stars on my map which results in over 700 billion combinations of coordinates (286C6). Keep at it though;)

I still don't get it. I thought the reason why we could not make constellations (that can be accepted yet) is due to this glitch. So at some undisclosed time today, probably after work for TNT or upon the News update, then we might? Or can we now? I want to start, even though I have no clue what I am doing, I want to try. But if things cannot even be accepted yet, then there is no sense wasting my time on this right now.

So do we wait or keep trying to make constellations? I am confused. :P

Here's what I think:

Once we complete the next step and can make a true constellation, our starmap will either be completely different or just be gone. I don't think they really mean anything. I think they're just something TNT gave us to play with whlie they get the next step ready.

...or maybe once we map a constellation, we can mount our telescope in another location.

Oh please no. O_O Finding one seems to be hard enough!

I know someone posted this before, and it is questionable how valid such "hints" are, but I thought it curious it has been updated:

My guess is that once we're able to find constellations (either once the glitch is fixed, or once TNT starts releasing coordinates to us) then the glyph will show up on the starmap, and we'll move on to another constellation.

Meaning that if we find the Protector first, then Jerdana's glyph (that magic bubble shield thing) will show up on the starmap while we're searching for the First to Rise, etc.

I was wondering I know they say there is only one map but if there is two has anyone tried putting one map on top to get a view of both skys together... that sounds like somehting TNT would do

Yes, we tried that. It is just doubly-confusing. :P

We may be in for an update soon - Altador is not loading - this may mean TNT is up to something. :D

Either that, or the world crashed under the weight of all the speculation.

...

Yeah, TNT's probably updating something.

Loaded fine for me- perhaps it's been updated already? I'm off to check

Works fine for me. Try refreshing. News posting a link might make it drag a bit
