im not sure if we are suposed to connect the red stars or not, and do they all connect into one big constelation?

Constellations

Is it possible that we have to find the constellation of the statue behind which we found the oil/rag?

I've been looking for Siana (the statue I found the stuff behind), using the image of what's above her.

The other thing is - given the way it is set up, it would make sense to find the constellation in the area where it is in the Hall of Heroes.

Thing is - which way is considered north? King Altador? The DF?

Plus, when looking at the sky, North is usually considered to be at the BOTTOM of the view, not the top.

Oh man... do you think TNT would make us map out the entire star chart like how some people mapped out the entire tomb in the LDP plot?

listen tnt....thanks for the hints but ...

DO U THINK WE CAN FIND HIDDEN CONSTELATIONS IN STARS????

it was determined that the oil/rag was placed randomly, and has nothing to do with.. anything. :)

Don't know if that makes it easier for you guys to see what you're doing... it does for me, I know. :D

So frustrating.

ok i am very lost, i joined the astronomy club and got my telescope, but when i put it where it belongs all i'm getting is 'setting up telescope' no matter how much time has passed

All this clicking has made me nitpicky. Either the constellations are a red herring (which I doubt), or TNT made a technical mistake. Astronomy is strictly the study of stars. The study of constellations and the myths behind them are astrology.

Well... dictionary.com does give this as definition 2 for astronomy...

A system of knowledge or beliefs about celestial phenomena: the various astronomies of ancient civilizations.

Is anyone else joining me in my madness by mapping this thing out? Thankfully I'm almost done...

how do you map it out, were not even positive how big it is..

I am... I'm about halfway there. It's taking a while, but it'll be nice to be able to see the whole thing all at once.

If we really have to play connect the dots, just what scale do we have to do it to? Would it be just be within the range of view in your crosshair or across the entire sky? Which if that was the case would probably drive many of us crazy... me first though xD

We DO know how big it is. It goes on the X-Axis from -340 to 340, same for the Y axis. Therefore, it's a 462,400 square pixel map.
