I would like to know which weapons are the next up from the blaster and the halo so i know what i need to save for

Well, I agree with most all of the advice you've gotten from Lucifer so far. But I think with a $2M budget you should really upgrade at least one of those main weapons now.

The next step up are normally the NQII weapons: Ramtors Spellbook, Scuzzys Comb, or Staff of Righteous fury. The first two are 10 full icons constant. RSB is 5 dark & 5 light. SC is 5 phsical & 5 light. SoRF is variable 7.5-12. 7 light, .5-5 physical. All are around 500k-700k currently. SoRF is usually the cheapest - I'm not sure if that's because people don't like the variable, or if it maybe averages a bit less than 10. RSB is the most popular; because most people prefer the dark icons to the physical. There seem to be a decent number of weapons that block some dark though - so I'm not sure how important that is.

Consider that with your current two best attack weapons, Florbix blaster & HoD, your dealing about 15.3 icons comnbined in a turn; with 2 10 iconers that would be 20. The next set up from there would be 11 icons - but those run from 1.4-1.6 million np for the cheapest. And you do need the honey potion, healer and freezer.

For the freezer, I would go for something better than the green frost cannon. Even Snowglobe staff is a step up there. You should probably get at least a rainbow frost cannon, which at least gives a bit of attack while it's anoying you by not freezing. Black is better - if it's in your budget. Scroll of Freezing may be nice for occaisional big important battles; but that does break (for good) frequently, so rarely worth it.

And you may want to switch to Greater Healing Scroll. I've never had a healing scroll break in maybe hundred fifty uses. While you have less than 50 HP, the scorchstone may still be better, because of the pre-damage heal. But the 50 point heal will be better as long as you use after you've lost at least 25-30 HP. The danger is getting tempted to wait too long in order to maximize the heal.

I have a question for all you BD'ers out there. What stats would you reccomend at getting a SOS?

I would think that would be nice at any level! As long as you have, what !0 million maybe, to spare.

More a matter of when you can afford it. Of cousrse if you going to fight alot of low level newbies, they might not be fair fights. But you would never really not want it. Only concern is you'd want another good weapon dealing another icon type, like light or air, just in case someone is blocking or reflecting dark.

Okay, I have been out of the loop for about the last year, so I have fallen behind in weaponry and tactics Anyway, I need to know your advice on my main battledome pet. I have about 600k to spend on weapons, and I also have an Elephante Morphing Potion and Stunray/Eugent in my Gallery (my pet used to be an Elephante until I got my Acara the color I wanted through the lab, then I switched to firing the lab on this one).

My current set: leaf shield, blue ss, scarab ring, scuzzys comb, illusens earth potion, downsize, scroll of dark nova and *ahem* a caustic potion

Im not very rich and make money the old fashioned way, saving and selling stuff from random events etc (no RSing though).

Ive got about 500k saved up and was originally aiming for a HP(my bombs are lousy), however, been thinking thats not such a good idea (only got 1 main attacker and thinking of getting another). Helps, hints, suggestions anyone?

I'm looking for advise on training and weapons.

I made the classic mistake of zapping without training. Fredodo has been training daily to get things back in balance. I'd like to set some training goals and want suggestions on what they should be considering strength boosts and the like.

A. Replace the Snowglobe Staff with a Black Frost Cannon
B. Lose the Earth Potion. You don't need it, because you have stronger multi-use weapons.
C. Lose the leaf shield. Your defence is semi-demi-god-awful, so your shield is not very useful.
D. Sell the Halo of Devilpuss and get a Sword of Apocalypse, or a comparable weapon.

B. and C. I understand why they are irrelevant, but what else should I put in their place? I guess I could put a Purple Sticky Hand for one, but what for the other?
D. Bought a Scuzzys Comb instead, as I didn't have enough for the SoA after buying the BFC.

Any other suggestions?

[EDIT]: Someone over on the IDB forums suggested I replace the Leaf Shield with a 50% Reflector based on my opponent. Seemed like a good idea to me.

The last 2 spots could be dual mud mixtures ( 5 icon attack, 1-5 heal each) or dual sand snowballs ( 9 icon attack...single use, but they're pretty cheap!)-------- Definitely buy another bottled earth faerie to get the burrow ability!!!!! This is one of the 2 best faerie abilities ( the other being sink...dark, level 30)------- For training, try to get to at least the 55 strength/defence boosts. ( for an explanation of boosts, link to in-depth battlepedia from pinkpt's home page) Although it's optional, I recommend training both strength and defence. Good luck!
